We stayed 2 nights in a camping pod in may 2013.
The pod is quite ok, very well insulated (and heated, so you really don't feel cold once inside), but the mattresses provided were too thin and not comfortable at all! There is no equipment inside the pod, only a small heating and sockets.
Outside the pod you have your own fire pit and a picnic table.
There was no common room / common kitchen (only a fridge), so you have to cook on your barbecue or go to the pub in Cannich (the coffee shop inside the camping closes very early).
Showers (free) and toilets were clean, with paying hair dryer.
The man who runs the place was very nice, also was the woman in the coffee shop.
The campgroung is well situated, close to Lochness (Urquhart Castle) and Glen Affric and Glen Cannich which are absolutely amazing places to see!
So if you chose to stay in a pod, bring your own inflatable mattress, and be aware that there is nothing to cook except from the fire pit. read more
