I was approaching my 7 month follow up to have my MM script renewed, I was being seen at a place that was charging $195 for me to renew. When I did some more research I was very excited to find CannaCare Wellness accepting new patients for around $130 when I called they were able to discount that even more to just $100 *I can't remember if they did this for me because I was already a patient just seeking a new Dr or if they are doing this for everyone* regardless.. I'm Incredibly thankful for it because this medicine is not cheap by any means, everything is paid for out of pocket, and I think everyone after getting their MM license just wants to try everything so saving money in anyway I can makes me extremely happy. I LOVED that after my appointment I received an email with discounts for different dispensaries in my area, I was aware of all the first time discounts but I was unaware of the MUV physicians referral discounts, as well as a couple other dispensaries I wasn't even aware sold flower. The more you know My first impression of Dr.Tamar is that he is a pretty relaxed guy, soft spoken. Since I was already a patient I didn't have to spend too much time in his office being educated but he made sure if there were any questions I had, he would address. I asked about edibles being added and if they charged a fee to have those added, as I've been reading others experiences w/ getting edibles added & he assured me that they wouldn't charge to have edibles added. He added the edibles to my script no problems, and just asked that I do my best to inform others of the benefits of Medical Marijuana as there's many people who are against or doubt it's medical benefits. Since Feb 2020 I am down 25 lbs due to MM and I honestly feel like this is the best investment I've made, and Thanks to CannaCare Wellness for making it possible for me to continue using this service. 10/10 Definitely recommend. *also added that when I went into the office for my appt, there was only 1 other PT in the office who was taken in as I walked in so I was the only one in the lobby. Plastic put up in front of the reception area so you can just slide them your card, both reps were behind the plastic and wore masks so I really feel like they're doing the most to keep everyone safe and socially distanced. They have a variety of products from the dispensaries available to view as well which is nice. I had first called in a few weeks ago to find more info about setting up an appointment. I was greeted with a wealth of knowledge from Brian. He answered all of my questions (I had a lot) & made me educated me in great detail. I loved how it felt like there was no time restraints or being rushed off the phone. I'm new to Medical Marijuana, this week will be my 2nd, 7 month check up. I first got started in Leesburg and I was so disappointed. The doctor was horrible, I had several questions, none of them where answered, it was a assembly line and nobody reminded me that I had to come back in after 7 months, I didn't find out until I went in to pick up an online order in Leesburg and they told me I was no longer in the system and I had to start over again. Had a very pleasant experience at Canna Care! New to this and from the start Brian was very helpful and knowledgable with all of my questions. I came in and met Omar, while I was waiting he showed me all of the different places I could get my meds once approved and gave me all sorts of handouts on all of them. He also explained all the different ways the lovely greenery could help me, as well as the different ways to use for specific issues in the tissues! Very informative and sweet to boot!
