The service is always friendly and the "ice cream girls" and "ice cream boys" as Crusio calls them will always greet you with a smile on their face. She checked up on us at adequate intervals without being intrusive. The menu offered many tempting options from which to choose. My colleagues went for the Specialty Bakery Salad and the Pasta Carbonara. But I am a breakfast fiend and I had not had eggs for breakfast that day. As such, I opted for the Salmon Omelet with brie, mushrooms and onions. There were large strips of brie embedded, which seemed quite unusual. It was terrific and I would recommend it if you try this place. Our meals were capped with excellent coffee. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my experience in this delightful little shop. In 1838 werd het pand een horecagelegenheid. Eerst 'Koffyhuis Belle Vue', jaren later werd dit omgedoopt in 'café Bellevue'. Op 18 januari zijn Harry en Stientje Raats in dit pand een nieuw café gestart onder de naam café-restaurant 'de Raatskelder'. In 1981 werd de zaak als eetcafé door Frans en Leny Raats voortgezet en uitgebreid tot wat het nu is: een gezellig café waar u een hapje kunt eten, een drankje kunt doen en zelfs een feest kunt geven in de zaal boven het café. Sinds 18 januari 2011 is eetcafé de Raatskelder overgenomen door Dennis Raats. Zaal 'de Feestbrouwerij' Onze feestzaal boven het café is geheel in thema ingericht.
