Not to be outdone at their own cuisine, Europeans have been franchising much closer approximations, and some, like Le Pain Quotidien, have even been making their way across the pond. Delifrance is of this form. If it weren't for their beautifully graphic-designed menu, I wouldn't have suspected this location of being chain. The space is cozy and the staff personal and friendly. They have soups, salads, sandwiches, breads, pastries, coffees, and even some more elaborate dishes. For us, the salad was a welcome supplement to our diet, which had up until this point been heavy on the Greek fast food which is common to the area. The salad was vegetable-heavy, had plenty of dressing, and was accompanied by fresh bread and butter.
