Wow people walking in front of cars and no control. People walking in people front yards throwing garbage everywhere. But the decorations of houses was truly great.

Another year has arrived! Still really good! A lot of the same stuff and some different. It definitely gets you in the holiday spirit! Very busy with lots of peeps walking. Slow moving. Safe. A lot of cute holiday decorations! Very nice to checkout! Happy holidays everyone! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Recommended!

We love driving and walking candy cane lane every year! We did both this season . There are some house that set up stands and you can buy hot chocolate, churros , donuts and more. Not sure where to find the sign up or how much it is but there is a guy that brings out a big horse drawn wagon that you can take to go through the lights. It can get really busy , so be careful. We have found the best time to go is between 5:30-7:00 on weekdays.

We've been wanting to go every year but never had a chance to. We traditionally go to Christmas Tree Lane every Christmas Eve. So glad we are able to go today to Candy Cane Lane. Since the last two weeks, the line has been so long, I tried to keep track of the best time to go. Between 6-7:30 had been best. The line isn't all the way to Target and wasn't blocking the intersection of Alluvial and Willow. The flow of traffic was a bit crazy compared to Christmas Tree Lane. I actually prefer Christmas Tree Lane than Candy Cane Lane. There was a lot of decorations but not as much as Christmas Tree Lane. Some houses looked like they just threw a string of lights on some bushes or just had a blow up Santa or two. There were a lot of left and right turns. Since this was neighborhoods of decorated houses. Pedestrians were walking in the middle of the street or they would cut across in front of cars. There were cars parked on the curb next to the houses so some of the lights or decorations were blocked. The houses or neighborhoods that were decorated were really nice and we really appreciate the time they took and how they put everything together for the community. It was nice to look at. I'm glad we got to visit and experience this!

So pretty!

The dude and I came here on Christmas 12/25/20 around 8pm and I came here two weeks ago with my lovely two sisters and two nieces as well. With the family we wanted to go to Christmas Tree lane and the line was so LONG and my middle sister who works in Clovis and I love in Clovis suggested Candy Cane Lane which I was down for and we already got our Holiday drinks and snacks so we headed there! Upon arrival there was a long line which we unnecessarily waited like 30 minutes as you can cut through some houses and cut so many people who don't know this secret! The dude and I did it when we recently came through this week. The dudes first time and we got our Holiday drinks from Rare Earth right by Candy Cane Lane and headed there. I would say about 90% of the houses were decked out with beautiful lights and decorations and like the 10% put in minimal effort or no lights at all which I'm not hating as we and my family didn't put outside lights up but did inside the house and our apartment. With COVID don't know if that interfered or maybe plans out of town so who knows. My favorite House was the House that had LARGE bears, Santa and every structure wearing face mask which was pretty cool. Some homes were selling Churros and hot chocolate. Overall, I highly recommend coming through as it was a lovely experience. My nieces LOVED it so hoping to make this a tradition of coming to Candy Cane Lane with the nieces and my two best friends which are my sisters a week or two before Christmas and with my love the dude on Christmas dude thinks it Cheesy but that makes me - me so bring on the extra cheese please!

Went during the weekday and it wasn't as busy.... Loved all the houses with lights. There was a couple residents selling hot coco and churros and desserts. S/O to the amazing resident for giving me 2 free churros. Will be coming back next year. I'll say it's better than Christmas tree lane. It's both walk and drive

When does this event end?

According to their social media accounts; hour-wise they end each night at 10:00pm, date-wise they go until December 25th.

Can we experience the candy cane lights by walking this year?

yes, you can!

Are we able to walk through here since christmas tree lane canceled walk nights?

This was the worst idea to open up walk nights with traffic driving both ways and NO SIDEWALKS. It was extremely frustrating as the driver and all the people walking kill the view and taking photos out the window of the car. Pedestrians always want… Read more

We were on our way to Santa Claus Lane and I remember from last year (when it was too late) that there was a sole performer around Sunnyside/Locan area in Fresno. I google and found their website. The website itself is already foreshadowing quality as the site itself is superior than the other bigger/major light show neighborhoods in the area. I get to the house and I was in for a treat---we were the only car there to spectate. The entire house is covered with lights and the lights are dancing with a song. You tune in to the radio station and just enjoy the show. This isnt a cheap animated light show. The way everything is synced and setup is top notch. This is really some pro-grade stuff here. The detail and time put in to executing this I can only imagine but myself and my family greatly appreciated. It was highly enjoyable and the BEST lights and light show in the Fresno/Clovis area (remember thats a combined population of 700,000 people. The other attractions--sure they bring dense quantity of homes that are lit up and decorated, but this one house by itself is amazing by itself.

We always find a place to have diner and then walk around and enjoy the music. We visit the different thrift stores. We always find something nice to buy. It has become a tradition for us to attend this event every year. Highly recommended. It is the official start of the Holidays for us. It's almost like a magical night.

There are always so many events going on in OTC which I am loving the community events. I have gone to over 4. Everyone is very friendly and the respectful. The older folks tell my dude how did he scored his beautiful woman (me), which we always find hilarious as it is usually an older white retired couple. Anywho, if you would have told me I would be living in Clovis like 5 years ago, I would bet my life savings you are wrong but I do and surprisingly it's not that bad. There is always something to explore in OTC, from businesses to people. I love the events that they have which at least I feel like there's something going on every two weeks. The dude and I have gone to several restaurants and Roll Me Some is in OTC, BOA, EECU, and so much more. I am never disappointed when I come to OTC and wish Fresno put on more events like Clovis. There is always something to do here. They have the annual Christmas Parades, Big Hat Days, Veteran Parades and spring much more. I highly recommend to come down and check it out.

Fresno County Blossom Trail

I saw somewhere that the trail is about a 2-hour drive. That pace seems to me to be at race speed, and way too fast to enjoy the sights. We took about five hours to drive the trail, and that was a comfortable speed. Given how much business and pride the Blossom Trail could drive to Fresno County, the trail appears to be a bit neglected. First, the Google Map download from the Fresno County website is practically useless for navigation using the Android Google Maps app. The app continuously tries to optimize the point-to-point travel, which too often takes one off the preferred and official route roadways for seeing the maximum number of blooms. Occasionally, there are Blossom Trail signs marking the route and turns, but some are either hard to spot or missing: more signs are needed to enhance route navigation for visitors, most of whom are not familiar with the area. Lastly, the map downloaded and printed from the Fresno County website is at such a small scale that it is very difficult to read, and if enlarged, gets blurry and even harder to read. Clearly, Fresno County has done a "government" job at the simple task of marking a route. Lastly, I would highly encourage Fresno County or the Farm Bureau to work with the landowner to put up signs that identity the type of orchard, vineyard, or crop. There used to be blue signs along the fences on I-5 that identified crops, and those were appreciated. The landowners and farmers benefit because the signs instill knowledge in the public and a public that knows about agriculture will support agriculture. Overall, despite the navigation challenges, the Fresno County Blossom Trail provides for a beautiful roadtrip.

The trail is all across Fresno. You'd have to have a car and find one of the "landmarks" on the map…read morethen pay close attention to the streets to know where to turn. The map is confusing and took a lot of time to comprehend. Throughout the trail, you may find orange blossoms, cherry blossoms, almond blossoms, and pear blossoms, however it really varies based on the season for its full blossom. The website recommended Mid February to Mid March. Additionally, some areas may look better than others. If you look at my photo, it looks fairly empty. BUT we did see some pretty full ones in other areas... a lot of them are fenced off. If you're able to find some that aren't blocked, you can easily pull over and take photos. So be prepared to do some searching.

So he drove a whole hour later.. just for the staff to reject him too! They lied and said he came. We are able to provide the book for you. Even asked for my last name to put on the book with a sticky note. But why would you need my last name if my man is coming to provide his info???? They didn't even acknowledge us when I came the second time back with my boyfriend. Then they proceeded to lie and say oh there was no book! Like wow!!!! They need to really hire friendly and helpful staff. Not children who give no eye contact. The Asian guy, black girl, and blonde just stared. The only help was the shaved girl with glasses and she had no location for the book but was the one who lied and told me that I should wait an hour until my boyfriend got there. I will never come back in this library again, it was an awful experience. They were not working but instead on their phones staring at the desk down and not up to see how they can help. I had to ask the Asian guy to go get whoever is ahead in charge because he told me he didn't want to help us.
