I went in here because I was lured in by the smell of candles and OH my, was I in for a treat! There on every shelf was candles, handmade candles that smelt lovely. I had to buy one. Not only that they had cards and little gifts but what is unusual in here is that they make chess sets and wire models. Like I said in another review, Uppermill offers something unique to a shopper. This little business is set up online and have around four websites; one main one for the shop and three others for ordering helium balloons, making badges and also making chess sets! I could spend hours in here, looking at every individual homemade candle. I bought lots of small gifts for my mum's birthday here and she was delighted with them. I love that this place has expanded to four shops but still retains its great customer service and its passion for candles and all things beautiful. The shop isn't very big, but big enough for what they sell. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they are selling.

Cards, flowers, all sorts of ideas for a birthday or special occasion. I didn't spot and sugar but I guess the spice could be the range of scented candles. Prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly.

Inside they stock a wide selection of greeting cards and I found the perfect card for my Dad. They had lots of Father's day cards but also stocked all the regular greetings cards you would ever need. They also stock standard wrapping paper and gift wrapping accessories. I Gita card for £2.25 which is a decent price I thought. At the front of the store they also stock a small selection of gifts such as Yankee candles and some jewellery.
