I was nervous about coming to the ER (I always am). The staff were all super friendly, this is the first time I've really experienced such great kindness in a busy hospital. I thought the wait would be long because of how many people were there but they moved us in and out pretty quickly. The bathrooms and room were clean and everything seemed sterilized. There aren't many hospitals in Savannah I think the nurse said that there are three but I'm glad this one is near my house.

I honestly do not know where to start, but here goes nothing. Unfortunately, I cannot say we always receive the best service here at this Emergency location, and that's very disappointing knowing that we are still dealing with the Covid virus as well as a new variant of the virus. First things first, we were told that there was possibly a 4 hour wait to receive care at the door: we should have should have turned around, but for the safety of my household, and co-workers, it was imperative that I got checked out to ensure that I was in good health. Customer service As far as this category goes, I can say they were trying to do the best they could as far as getting us checked in, and registration was very speedy (in fact the lady who registered us in the system had a refreshing/ pleasant attitude, and she made the wait not feel so bad). As packed as this ER was, it appeared that none of the patients were being tended to in a timely manner, but hospital personnel was on their phones, I assumed going breaks (and yes we all need a break at work, but shouldn't breaks be at a minimum until the rush hour calm down). And the most important question of the visit was do have the Covid vaccine/are going to get it(which a part of me feels like, had I said yes I would like to get the Covid vaccine, my service would have been a little more speedily); therefore, the customer service was definitely not the best, and it could have been much better. The physicians assistant I had was very nice and understanding, and was knowledgeable on the reported discomforts on my behalf (and if I be honest, her service alone is probably why they are getting a second star). Cleanliness Of course there can only be so much cleanliness to expect when you walk in an ER, especially when it was as crowded as it was. The only thing that bothered me was, even though I don't expect it to be sparkling clean, it is safe to say that you probably would have walked out of this ER with something much more worse than why you walked in. There was a trail of blood on the floor from a patient that was being wheeled in, and only one hospital personnel person noticed, and that's only because she was coming from area that was across from where the blood trail had ended. Wait Time HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! There was a patient sitting across from us with a blood pressure 175/90 literally looking like they were about to be laying on the floor seconds from god knows what, and she arrived shortly after us. There was another patient that had been there before us and he had already been waiting a couple of hour by the time we had arrived, and he was still waiting to be seen with eyes that were bloodshot red either because he was burning up with fever or because he was dog tired from waiting to be seen. Sense of Urgency Knowing that this is supposed to be an ER meaning that there should be a sense of urgency in spite of the described urgency from the patient, it would be best to pray to God/heavens above that you do not end up here at this ER to receive medical care unless you a clearly unconscious, and just MAYBE that might get you some speedy service. In the end, (if it's something you can afford) you are better off going to an Urgent Care facility to receive care for whatever ailments you are having because by the time you get done sitting in this ER for 4 hours you will be dead.

It took them 4 hours to get my nephew back for surgery. Absolutely ridiculous.

Day 0 - my parent was being discharged and we needed to find options for long term acute care…read more There are really only two locations in town and we were already placed in the other by the case management at the hospital, however I wanted to check myself and also to find out options available to us. I am glad that I did. The first site was located in a hospital which is a great selling point. Landmark is in a smaller private hospital without all attached services, however it is literally 2-4 minutes for the two hospitals in town. I stopped in at 7 am and asked for a tour, bc making the right decision was weighing heavy on my heart. Surprisingly I was accommodated and I appreciated the welcoming spirit of the smployeea walking i for morning shift as well as the young lady who gave me the tour. So far....amazing! day 1 - transport was professional and easy. Admissions called to let me know what the room Number was and answer any further questions. Once my parent was over there we waited until they had him settled. Once unsent into the room, it was bright, airy and CLEAN! That can make you feel Better alone. But the staff were actively tending to him, cracking jokes and sizing up how much good trouble he was going to be :) but with love!!! He immediately had lunch, a comfy bed and the doctor and wound nurse stopped in to check and say hello within into 2-3 hours. I was also quite impressed with the dinner food!!!! I never wanted to taste his hospital food before, but I ate this plate Like I was at My grandmas :) they have a kitchen on site and someone in that kitchen ain't playing!! Dinner was black eyed peas, zucchini and seasoned baked pork chops, cornbread and a homemade Brownie!! I think they may know I was coming or writing up a Yelp review, but if this is everyday I know I made the right choice for our long term health needs. **++ I will make updates to see if the care is consistent.**++.
