Cell phones and camera are welcomed, although their lighting is a bit dark (store does provide selfie lighting tripods rentals), but I figure to use my flash on my camera. As mentioned in the other review, I came dressed the part too. Themed backdrops are all made colorful, with lots of props for customers to use to make the pictures vibrant and entertaining. A staff is on hand to assist with some photo taking giving advice on what best angle to use for the best pose. It is a timed session, but since we were early; Ling C. and I had a blast with all the backgrounds and taking numerous pictures with different poses. There is a hand sanitizer in the front counter with a temperature scanner, some staff do have mask on. In my opinion there should be a changing room- so customers could have more fun with the themed rooms. Admission pricing for kids are pricey, and lighting tripods should be included in the admission. Overall, a good time spent

They were fantastic at the events and really worked with us to get to a great end result. I love photography and was extremely particular about the aesthetic I wanted for my video. At the same time, our wedding had both North and South Indian elements, so having traditional photographers was quite necessary to capture the nuances in every event. I was absolutely the nightmare client and pestered Vaaho with a million requests. From the first day, the Vaaho team sensed my anxiety about this and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Ekonkar took it upon himself to be at our sangeet and ceremony with a separate camera that was able to capture detail shots (guests, decorations, and such), while the camera crew took exhaustive footage of all three parts of the wedding. At our wedding, the camera people were incredibly respectful, and guests were never bothered by their presence, even though they literally captured footage of every single person who attended the events, which was quite impressive. The Vaaho team even carried and took footage with a Vuze 3D 360 camera (quite new at the time) that my husband and I had purchased to capture the event. They researched and brought the right equipment to support the device, and now, besides our photos, videos, and albums, we can re-live our wedding events in a virtual reality headset! After the wedding, our busy lives took over as usual, and we were less than responsive about our edits for the videos and photo albums. The Vaaho team was committed to customer satisfaction and followed up with us, without which we would've lost out and not gotten the videos that we'd wanted to begin with. They patiently worked with us on multiple rounds of edits for our videos, and as we'd specified up-front, made us two different highlight videos, so I got what I really wanted while the parents also got their more traditional video. Vaaho's attention to detail and ability to artfully edit the videos was amazing. Frankly, I couldn't believe how well edited they were in the end -- very impressed. Overall, I would highly recommend Vaaho, especially if you are willing to work with their lovely staff to help optimize your wedding for the photos and videos you want. They are very open to feedback and incredibly responsive, and they truly helped us create such beautiful ways to remember our wedding forever. I would hire them again for any events without hesitation. Thank you Tony uncle and Ekonkar - so grateful that you were a part of our wedding!

I could have done a better job shooting my wedding than what they did on my phone. They were extremely rude. When we were watching our video it seemed as though the camera man did not know how to focus. I cannot stress this enough, please do not book this company they will ruin the memories of your special day.

For someone who does photography and videography myself, I can say that Mike and White Light are absolutely top notch. Highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!

I got married last year in August (2015), and today is October 2016. It took me so long to write…read morethis review because today I finally received my WORKING wedding dvds. There was so much that's wrong with their business I honestly don't even know where to start. When I had my first meeting with them before my wedding, I chose an album design, texture, and color I wanted my wedding album to be. I even paid extra money (almost 2k extra) to have them arrive an hour early to the wedding hall and for a wedding highlight to be added to my package, which meant more people of their business would have to work. The day of my wedding, they arrived an hour early as was agreed on. It was one photographer and one videographer and I was getting my hair and makeup done. They literally just stood in the bridal suite with me and were staring at each other, completely oblivious as to what they should do. I directed them to start taking pictures and filming my dress, shoes, getting ready, the groom and groomsmen who were ready and waiting, etc. After the wedding was over and they sent me the pictures, I realized the pictures weren't what I expected. There were crooked pictures, the pictures and people weren't centered, and more of this sort of amateur work. I was disappointed but at the end of the day, my wedding was great and there is nothing that can be done since the day was over. I sent over the pictures I wanted to use for the album and a few months later, the album was ready. When I went to pick up the album (mind you their office is located in Hicksville, LI, and I live in brooklyn), and the album color and texture was not what was originally discussed and promised what it would be. When Omer, the owner and the person I had the meeting with regarding the album choices, tried to look up his records of where he wrote down what we discussed, he could not find it. Not only that, but the actual pictures in the album were very dark and it looked like such a gloomy album when it was my wedding album! He apologized and said it was the fault of camrafair and he would send it out to the editor and get it fixed. This took another few months. During this time, he sent me the unedited version of my wedding video and asked me what edits I would like to have made on the video. When I sent back the edits I wanted, Apoorva, (his assistant I assume), replied that all the edits would be made. This took ANOTHER FEW MONTHS (ridiculous at this point), and when the album and video was FINALLY ready and fixed, I went again all the way to their studio to pick them up. There is nothing I could do about the crooked and misaligned pictures so I let that go. Now, the video is another story. They gave me the unedited version they originally sent me! When I reached out to Omer to let him know, his response was "I have to see if we even have your video saved on our files or else I can't do much." Um....excuse me? Aren't you running a wedding videography/photography business? Why would you delete files so quick? That makes no sense and why don't you invest in technology with enough memory to keep files since this is how your business thrives!? Anyway, he let me know they had the file saved and he would do the edits. When I asked why it took so long and why no edits were made so what did they have me waiting on all those months, he said he had no idea. Fast forward, yup you guessed it, another few months, (at this point its over one year), the edited DVDs are finally ready. So here I go again, a third trip out to Hicksville, and guess what? The DVDs DON'T WORK!!! They are skipping, freezing, and then just altogether stop working! I , once again, reach out to Omer, who said he will fix it. It was weeks and I had not heard back so finally I had to threaten to sue if they did not refund me for the video because it was ridiculous at this point and I was sick of running after them. I told them I would return the DVDs and to just refund me. Finally, after having to resort to this, Omer told me the DVDs would be ready and I told them to just mail it to me this time because I couldn't keep going over there to pick them up. He sent them via mail, and once again again, THE VIDEOS DIDN'T WORK!! . How do you not check the dvds to see if they work when you know it was a prior issue!? When I told him this, he responded with "Mistakes happen" I was done at this point. How can you run a business, keep messing up on your part, and say "mistakes happen" ? So unprofessional and sad. Finally, after I had to text him to check up on when the DVDs would be ready (he never had the professionalism of keeping me updated), I told him I will come pick it up and will play each DVD in his studio (wasting my own time and something no client should have to do), which is what I did, and FINALLY, over a year of mistakes and screw ups, I have working DVDs. They don't care about you after they get paid, save yourself the headaches and go with a professional service!

She has a knack for picking up on the little moments and relationships that make a wedding day so meaningful. Priyanca works hard to capture those moments. She covers a lot of ground--sometimes literally. At one point, she got down onto her knees and elbows to capture my brother-in-law's spin moves on the dance floor. It felt like she was everywhere. And the pictures prove that she was! We treasure our photos. My wife--no lie--looks through our wedding pics at least once every 10 days. We've been married like a year and a half at this point. But I really can't blame her. We are both so thrilled that, after the crazy blur of our wedding day, we can re-live the rawness and beauty of it all through our photos. After seeing her work and the caliber of photography that she did, we felt really lucky that she was even available on such short notice for our very small, intimate, and informal pandemic wedding. From the time we booked her, Priyanca was incredibly polite and forthcoming about her photography style, her philosophy, and her policies all while being very accommodating of our special requests and needs. She's incredibly professional and showed up on time and always returned our phone calls and emails. Her rates are very reasonable for the quality of work she does. She is very respectful, cultured and has experience photographing wedding ceremonies and receptions of all different faiths and cultures. She knows what she's doing especially when it comes to respecting cultural customs and it shows. We received our wedding photos (all edited and selected by her) not long after our wedding ceremony. They were absolutely stunning and she was able to get angles and points of view that we hadn't thought possible. She captured all the important moments in the perfect ways and really showcased the emotions and vibes of those moments as well. Priyanca is academically trained in photojournalism and it shows in her photography style. I encourage you to visit her website and see her work, and if that's the kind of style you prefer, then she is among the best out there.
