I have ate here a handful of times with my family. Their food has always been pretty good! The staff ate kind and atrentive. The restaurant always looks clean and well maintained. Last time, I got the Chile Relleno. I was excited to try it but when I cut it open, all of this water liquid came out. It was soggy and the cheese has clumped up inside of it. Im not sure what happened but it was not enjoyable. I have had their tamales a few times and they are quite good though. I would try this restaurant again but I will be staying away from the Chile Relleno. read more

My husband and I came in and we had Jackie as our server. She was friendly and very professional. Great service I had the fajitas and my husband had the alhambre de res. Both had great flavor. The rice and beans also had great flavor. Prices were reasonable and the portions were large. Small parking lot but clean restrooms! Stop by and have a meal, you will not be disappointed. The Cheese enchiladas are iconic! The service is always fast and super nice servers. Very inexpensive as well for great tasting food.

So disappointed, I ordered two menudos they were 2/3 full, very little tripe and hominy and the tripe was not even honeycomb tripe. We had a variety of different food at our party and nothing was good. Our waitress which was an older lady was really good but the other one was which was the younger one was making us feel uncomfortable and was being weird. This is a family favorite. We drive 20-30 minutes just to come and eat here. The service is always great, even if the place is busy. The food is always amazing no matter what you get. Food here is decent. There could be a little more flavor/seasoning in most of the dishes I have tried. I usually only stop here for convenience when I want okay Mexican food quickly but not fast food. They also tend to not answer the phone so it's hard to do pick up or Togo orders because they are busy and short staffed. I'm sorry I cannot recommend this restaurant. 1st, there is hardly any parking, not to mention it's a stupid parking lot. Once inside, we ordered 2 on the rocks margaritas. Not good, too sweet & I could not taste the tequila. The tortilla chips were stale and tasted store bought. The salsa was very hot and tasted like canned tomatoes with hot hot peppers, was told that was the mild version. I ordered the burrito bowl with Carne asada, wow, so salty, not to mention the taste just was not good. My husband ordered beef fajitas which I tasted, much better flavor than my dish. I've tried this restaurant 3 times before, 1st time I got food poisoning. 15 years later thought I'd try it again, a lot of people says it's good. Not so much for me. I give up and will travel to Riverbank or Modesto from now on. read more
