I don't think there are many stores where you can buy craft supplies, children's unique toys, running shoes, maple syrup and Pendleton sweaters and blankets. I will agree with some of the other reviewers and say that the prices are on the high side. Being from the Mid-West I thought all prices in Minnesota were higher. However, I understand much of the areas I was visiting were tourist towns, or remote areas and that alone explains the price increases. Being a small town and a tourist town, the staff was attentive and friendly. They made shopping a fun and pleasant experience. If you're in Grand Marais, you've got to at least walk through this store and be amazed with the variety of merchandise.

My partner asked for help and location of a product and was replied with, "what, do you want me to do your shopping for you too." I ordered from both Home Depot and Canadian tire during the pandemic. Home Depot 1 week and apologized for the wait but that they were doing their best, Canadian tire a month, then just cancelled the order on us and told us to come buy it in person. The negative experiences with this store go on and on. They clearly don't want my money. And I'm happy to spend it elsewhere.
