Went in the inquire about new tires for the car and my wife was ridiculed for having Chinese tires and not offered help selecting new ones. Went to a different shop and had it done with much better customer service. Also took my vehicle in for an inspection, that turned into being told my vehicle could leave the shop for safety reasons and after paying for the repair the vehicle is in the same shape as before. I guess safety standards don't apply after payment is received. Will be complaining to head office. Please think twice before taking your vehicle to Canadian tire my last 3 experiences have all been very disappointing and left me feeling taken advantage of read more

My wife who knows next to nothing about cars, other than driving them went to buy a windshield wiper and asked for assistance with installing it. The two "men" who worked there and appeared to be doing nothing but standing around told my wife that "It wasn't their job" and to "Come back in an hour to see if anyone else was willing to help her". What kind of BS "Customer Service" is that? Whatever happened to good 'ol customer appreciation and service? Since when did customer service NOT be a literal part of their job description? We're NEVER going to Canadian Tire again. The ignorance and arrogance of this company has gone way too far. If they would rather we spend our money elsewhere, then I'll be happy to accommodate myself elsewhere. read more

Canadian Tire Maple Ridge was a joke. I ordered curb side pickup and went there after receiving confirmation that my order was ready. I showed up and they did not have my order ready. Very confusing. They are not organized and are not doing their due diligence during this pandemic. Curb side pickup is only a foot away from the waiting line and the staff was extremely rude. If your car window is open you are definitely not social distancing. I was so disappointed. I have been so impressed with many stores taking the time and patience out to accomodate their clients. Canadian Tire was a complete disappointment. I can gladly say I will not be shopping there EVER again. read more

I bought a Dyson 9 months ago and the vacuum head rubber washers disintegrated on it and the head stopped working. I called customer service and asked them what do I do. They told me to bring the vacuum in and they would replace it. So I packed it all up and brought it in. They even put aside a new one for me. The girl at the counter started to do the exchange and then told me she couldn't do it because Dyson is repair only. Why couldn't they tell me this before I brought it to them. Apparently all vacuums except Dyson are exchanged within a year. Are you kidding me!!! This is information you should know and tell your customer before they bring the product back to the store. Thanks for wasting my gas Canadian Tire!! I'll never buy anything from you again. read more

I am completely shocked at how rude the girl at the cash was. Didn't even say hello or ask me if I found everything. Just said "do you have a Canadian tire card" and "how are you paying" super rudely. And this isn't the first time, I've had this same thing happen to me the last two times I was in there read more

I was reluctant to take my car to a Canadian Tire for repairs as I've had bad experiences before, but these guys are great! They were super friendly, asked me lots of questions to try to get to the bottom of my car troubles, and called me every step of the way to let me know what was happening and make sure they weren't doing any work I didn't want done! I thought the problem was much worse than it was, but they were able to diagnose the problem as very minor and the cost was 1/7 of what I thought it would be! If you need your car fixed, I highly recommend. Honest, friendly and knowledgable. read more

They suck! Never have anything in stock they say they have in stock online! Super frustrating! Waste of my time!

I am honestly disgusting and disappointed with Canadian tires maple ridge location. I use to be an employee so I am bewildered that this happened. I saw two men stealing and shoving product into they're pockets so I felt I had an obligation to speak up. I told someone in hardware who did not do a single thing, as well as a young girl on cash who didn't radio anybody or do anything. These men ended up following me and my boyfriend out of the store and proceeded to run up behind me to grab me just as I managed to get into the truck. Then they tried to take things out of our truck and where threatening us as we tried to start the truck and get away. Later on we found out they were even let BACK in the store until closing. This is a great example of incompetent workers and incompetent management. What would have happened if he got a hold of me? Why did this happen, and why is Canadian tire brushing this off when clearly that was a dangerous situation. I am appalled with how this location repeatedly turns the other way. I really hope something can be done here because now since this happened, I am paranoid to be alone. I have the images of these men's faces burned into my memory and if Canadian tire could have DONE SOMETHING like they usually don't, this whole mess could have been avoided. read more

It used to be a good place to go to. I loved their honesty, but that is definitely a thing of the past. Dishonesty seems the new fad there. The only one you can trust there is Andy, he will never change. He is helpful, polite, and strives to get you the best deal he can. I don't know what happened. Earlier this year, they did a pre purchase inspection of my vehicle, or so I was told. They said every thing was good. Suddenly things began going wrong within a few weeks after inspection. They informed me the ball joints were good, but I suddenly needed to replace them. "You must have hit a bump," they replied when I asked them about it. I phoned other mechanics and they said that this was impossible. There was too much play in the joints to not be noticed during inspection, which led me to believe they did not check it at all, and were just trying to make excuses. Even one of their own mechanics agreed with me. So I got that fixed, and picked up my truck, went to a grocery store only to come back and find that my battery was dead. They said that the battery was good too. Nope, not even close. Very dishonest. Pre purchase inspections aren't cheap either. I used to love this place, spent a lot of money there. Now I can't trust them. read more
