Worst service ever. Called the store for curb side pickup no answer for 10 mins. Went into store and said to lady who happened to be a manager, that I called store for 10 mins she says I don't know what you want me to do I can't multitask. It certainly wasn't Kohl's. It was more like a Walmart or Target with an emphasis toward all things automotive. Bathroom, according to my wife was not clean. Other than the dirty bathroom, I kind of liked them and the stuff they sell. So far so good. I'm not a fan of how orders are directed to the back sports desk and not customer service or lockers (even Merritt's store has a locker system), which makes it harder to get your item especially if you have to wait in 2 lines and walk through a store. Their selection of items is very impressive and the discounts are very good, I just wish I had money for it all:). I will be continuing business there, I just wish the service was far easier and streamlined (it's a bigger store, so why does Merritt's store (1/3rd size or smaller) have more streamline and tech? I know it's smaller=easier, but bigger also means more options. read more

They have one of the worst service in the automotive department I've come across in a long time.

I've shopped at C T for most of my adult life. (See 36 years. My father, add another 20 years eh) The quality in product has without question improved 100%. I like that. The education of staff in dealing g with the million possible scenarios is admirable. The sniveling and whining from subjective self righteous arrogance is sad but amusing. It takes a seasoned associate to handle pompous... people effectively. They have such staff here. I can from the Chilliwack store where I lived. The same pleasant kind of service. Thorough, professional and knowledgeable. There will alwAys be those customers that think the sun revolves around them! There is no satisfying them, unless they create a scene impugning staff and brow beating their own importance. Like coming in at at closing time, expecting the store and staff to accommodate tardy arrivals on some emergency need. Staying open later for a single purchase, at the expense of staff and company SOP protocols. There are safety concerns, LPO potential issues, trying to set up a potential compromise in security. Don't scoff. It has happened before. This new store in the Leth South. Will be my new family store. It gives me the same feeling as the Chilliwack store I left to move here eh Been in the Leth for 2 weeks, already spent over $500 eh read more

I like Canadian Tire because it is my friend. This one time I went there and it was cool.

the only thing worse then the customer service is the competence level: 1) They sent my wife out with four tires that had not been tightened (lug nuts put on by hand a few twists only)... she got a block from the store and had to walk back. 2) took the van in with a very slow leak in the front RIGHT, told it would take about 30-60 minutes. three hours later, they came and told me the tire was irreparable with a huge hole. I was shocked to find they had taken off the front LEFT, a tire I had had no issues with, and found a "huge hole" in it, in the side wall, almost big enough to push a pencil through, and that i needed to buy a new tire???? seriously? Thy said it couldn't even hold air, and they couldn't legally send me out with the tire on, so i needed to buy a new tire. they didn't even take off the correct tire! total scam! I blew a gasket, and was very irate at this obvious scam, and final "solution" was to give me a new tire at "cost". 3) I bought 4 winter tires, got home to find they hadn't put my summer tires back into the back of my van (summer tires that were new that year). went back to the store, they loaded them up (in plastic bags as per usual) next spring took the four summer tires back to have mounted, only to find some worn out crap tires that were not the ones I had had on the fall before. After arguing with the manager, who was unwilling/incapable of helping me, i went to the north store where they "warrantied" my tires and got me going. North Side actually mopped up the south sides issues. I have had much better luck with the NORTH SIDE Can Tire, but will NEVER use the south side again. in fact, I even had a break down where i coasted into the south side parking lot, and had my vehicle towed from their, paying the tow bill, instead of letting these people near any of my vehicles. read more

Horrible customer service, the manager was rude about mis-information on their flyer. Was told to " take it or leave it because it was what it was, too bad!". Wow whatever happened to sorry there was an error. What a horrible example for his staff. read more
