I am absolutely satisfied with all that Maria and her team has done for me. I was very much in a…read moremanic state when I first corresponded with Maria and from the jump she was very responsive, professional, and reassuring! There was nothing more I could've asked for. The moment I spoke to her for my consultation I knew that her team was indeed the right fit for my needs. Maria was able to get my conviction withdrawn and that's no surprise. Even if my case were decided otherwise she would've still deserved this awesome review. She gives very competitive rates and the value and time she adds goes above and beyond what was expected of her. I would recommend anybody to her! Thank you so much Sturino Walker for your help :)

Julian Liknaitzky is the BEST divorce mediator / divorce coach in Toronto, in Canada, and indeed…read morethe world. I began working with Julian remotely on the advice of a friend of mine. It was immediately clear through our very first conversation that Julian was a special person who deeply cares for all those around him. Through our weekly phone sessions, Julian became a mentor and a good friend to me. He helped me find the confidence to move forward through my adversity and allowed me to discover my own inner strengths. I have grown so much emotionally and in my life with Julian as my guide. I cannot recommend him enough!

I looked for mediation services to assist me with my divorce and found myself having to repeatedly…read moreask for the same things because the mediator seems to doubt my ability to make decisions just because I was willing to settle for less than I am entitled to. My ex and I grew apart but we care about each other and probably always will so things can get emotional and I thought a third party would be beneficial. Instead we found ourselves just bypassing the mediator since I was constantly feeling pressured to ask for more than I am comfortable with but I simply couldn't afford to start the process all over again with a new mediator - I am out of a job since the Covid crisis started. Regardless, I do not want my ex to struggle so I can have things easier; we were both satisfied with what I was asking for but stating that was not sufficient for Julian. I felt very frustrated as he acted as if he had a parental role, wasting tons of time reminding me I was entitled to more as if I wasn't capable to grasp what I was giving up, regardless of how many times I said I understood my rights. Maybe he thought I would later change my mind and blame him but I made clear more than once that asking for more would certainly cause financial distress for my ex and potentially cause him to miss mortgage payments and lose our house as a result - we already don't have much and we could both lose nearly everything we do have so I am ultimately looking after my own interests - not just my ex's. He also committed to advise us when we approached the 8 hours used out of the 10 hours we prepaid with a retainer and didn't. Instead, I had to chase him for the documents and, when we finally received the final paperwork, he gave us an additional bill because he supposedly went over the 10 hours but failed to notify us earlier on. I was told he kept very detailed records of how he used the time we were charged for but as of right now I am yet to receive a breakdown or detailed invoice. Not recommended
