We began with six fines de claires, which were fresh and delicious, not needing the shallot vinegar that accompanied them. They were accompanied by the typical bread and butter. Following the plat du jour, a generous portion of gigot accompanied by a fine gratin and some haricots verts. This was one of the best plates of food I have had in about a dozen trips to France. I washed it down with a glass of the house red, a generous pour indeed. No room for dessert.
