I called on a Monday afternoon and John booked me for the next morning at 7:30. John is a really knowledgeable pro, who doesn't let the details get him flustered. He arrived fresh and eager to solve the problem - where I had no idea where to start to solve this one. Within two hours he had gone through nine zones and not only found the problems, but had many of them already fixed. He was sweating like a guy running a marathon from keeping the pace he had, but he seemed proud to have found the problems and was caught up in fixing them fast. I asked whether replacing components from the trouble zones would be the right solution? Rather than up the bill and take the money, John advised we do this in steps - fix what we see and then review the water bill next month to see whether more work and expense was needed. How often do you hear someone else look out for your own money? John is terrific. We have already put his name into all our phones for the next time we need a great professional to fix our irrigation system. Better still, we will have him come back once or twice a year just to be sure we aren't losing a lot more in water than his modest hourly rate by having put another shovel through a line somewhere.
