I must say the location is top notch as the other reviewers have mentioned. The room is so nicely appointed with a very comfortable king-sized bed, a pull out sectional, an armchair, and a cute little kitchenette. There was a bottle of water in a jug in the fridge for us and a Nespresso machine with 4 pods. The washroom was also well provisioned with lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. The overall feel of the loft was welcoming, modern and fresh. I would definitely book Maison Kent again the next time we are in Quebec City.

Nicely appointed kitchenette., AC worked well in the heat wave..Per their website, front desk is not always manned, but Sebastian helped us find a restaurant in a thunderstorm when it was too far to walk to ours. No breakfast provided.,. a nice little grocery store nearby. Lots of restaurants and the Frontenac is nearby. The elevator is impossibly slow., but it's vacation.. who's in a hurry? Cafe had lovely soft ice cream. Recommend a room on an upper floor.

There is no reception desk and you never see an actual person. They email you codes to get in the building and into your loft. We were supposed to stay on the top floor in a loft that overlooks the Frontenac but they had trouble with that room and had to move us. Our new room was 302. The room is a three bedroom loft that sleeps seven. We are only two people so we only used one bedroom. There is a full kitchen, large family room and laundry room as well. All lofts share an outside roof deck that overlooks Quebec City and the view is incredible. Our loft was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. If there is a downside, it is the charcoal gray floors that show every bit of dirt and road salt. Also, there is no maid service unless you pay to have it cleaned (it will be clean on your arrival). Overall we were quite pleased with this very different lodging arrangement.

The fee to ride is now $7 which we were prepared to pay in US dollars (which they accept 1:1) but now they take credit cards which is even better. This is a definite tourist gimmick…read more The Funiculaire in Quebec City is a short but historic vertical railway that connects the Upper Town, to the Lower Town, of Quartier Petit-Champlain. This is sometimes an essential mode of transport that allows for the navigation of the steep terrain to the lower town. When the weather is not bitterly cold and ice in abundance on the walkway, you can honestly walk down but given it was my first time in this part of Montreal, I needed to give this a woohoo whirl. $3 for a ride each way is steep for the 20 second ride. Even though it might make sense on a really chilly day in Montreal I'd say skip the ride in both directions. Going downhill is definitely easier so if you are up top, just walk down. There was nobody else wanting to take the cab up or down when I went, probably because most everyone else just walked the path on the day I went. At minimum it was efficient and easy to get in the cab.

I will make my review short and useful. I assume you want to rent here for skiing. Kindly note…read morethat this resort is older. Good - 1) Lower price among various accommodation near Mont Sainte-Anne . 2) Only 1 km from the ski hill. It is a 2 to 3 minutes drive. 3) Spacious 4) Within 10 minutes drive to town (SAQ, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations) 5) Sufficient heating in the bedrooms, living, dining and kitchen areas of our unit 6) Depending on your unit, you may have a spectacular mountain view of Mont Sainte-Anne 7) Furniture is in good or repaired and working condition in our unit 8) Sufficient toilet paper 9) The chalet offers skiing deals on http://mont-sainte-anne.com Bad - All are specific to the unit we rented 1) Electric heating is insufficient in basement hallway 2) Entrance heater vent is broken, so the entrance area is cold 3) Shampoo and conditioner provided are useless. Bring your own 4) No kettle. We had to use a pot to boil water 5) Pot lids don't match the pots. All of them. 6) Electrical outlets in the living room of our unit are in the baseboard. A wet mopping can short the circuit. Just be careful and don't get the floor wet. 7) Electrical outlet on the kitchen island looks like it is not professionally wired. 8) Insufficient heating in the basement bathroom 9) One of the two toasters is broken Will we return? We may if there is a skiing deal. We like the proximity to the hill and the town. Other than the heating and electrical outlet issues (item 1, 2, 6, 7, 8), the rest of the bad are more nuisances than significant.

Favorite campground ever!!!!…read more This place has done everything right so far! Superb check in and service. Big camp store with lots to choose from. I decided to upgrade to the patio site and was not disappointed. Our spot was to the back of the campground providing us space and the "quiet" we've been searching for. Loved our site which had everything we needed - swing, grill, table & chairs plus a picnic table. Great walking area for people & dogs. Plus 2 dog parks and plenty of pet waste bag areas. Pool and spa area were gorgeous and easy to walk to. Only negative was the short hours during our stay (10-2.) Bonus - free WIFI works!!! Will definitely keep this KOA on our favorite visit list. Thanks for making our camp stay wonderful.

Even though the weather was absolutely frigid during my visit, I was able to park and walk to many sites nearby during my stay. Several restaurants in particular were well worth the visit! My room was almost 3x the size of my first apartment, which I know isn't saying very much given where I live. Given the frigid temperatures, the temperature control in the room was spot on and calibrated nicely for my liking. The staff were friendly, checkin desk, valet, housekeeping, etc. I'd definitely be back again for sure.
