It's not the vast experience she has or her long list of patients (it quite busy during the evenings) or the friendly and warm inviting feeling I get when I enter the front office but it's the Doctor's approach to all my concerns, queries and her understanding that makes her an outstanding Doctor. I first came to her when I had injured my left arm while lifting weights. I had done such a bang up job that I couldn't even put on a shirt without wincing in pain. After my second visit, not only was I able to move my arm but the pain subsided substantially. That was 2.5 years ago and I've been going to her ever since. I now see her once a week for maintenance !

It's a free event offered to all expectant and new parents. I spent the bulk of yesterday (10:30-3:30) there, and spoke with so many specialists - psychotherapist, nutritionists, massage therapist, lactation consultant, baby goods distributor, pre/postpartum fitness instructor, and of course Maya the chiropractor was there. Everyone was sincere and quite pleasant to chat with. There were workshops held each half hour, and rooms to breast/feed in and for babies/toddies to play in, in the interim. It was a really worthwhile experience, both times that I went. I think it's amazing, that this wellness clinic would do this for an expectant/ new parent community. ~ They are near Eglinton X Yonge st. If possible, I'd recommend taking the TTC there, OR there is indoor parking just west of a green P where the daily max. is $12, as opposed to the nasty $22. that I ended up paying.

They'd make an adjustment and I'd immediately, in a few mins feel much better, than the moment i walked in. And sometimes I'd feel better the Next day as my body sometimes needs 12-18hrs to get through that adjustment correction - Im old, so sometimes yes, it takes time to heal and feel better in a day or two. the added bonus about GFC, is that Dr R and Dr K, have a program for sending you info, about training properly for injury / rehabilitation via YouTube videos = exercise's to strengthen your lower body for ex. or sore and lingering pain in your shoulder . Anything you need help with they'll email you about. Next thing, Dr K, will also send you info via Medical journals of studies with for ex) Osteoarthritis and getting injections - so he'll do the research for you with the the pros and cons of getting this done. DO some research YOURSELF like i do to verify his research. He's always spot on! When they expressed reluctance, staff pressured them to make an immediate decision rather than take time to think about it. The treatments lasted less than fifteen minutes, which is also not standard among chiropractors. One of my relatives began to experience persistent neck pain, but her concerns were ignored despite the fact that she mentioned her symptoms repeatedly. I'm writing this review to warn others about what appears to be a dishonest business practice, at best, and a potential health risk at worst. A chiropractor should never pressure clients to pay large sums of money up front or to make hasty decisions about treatment, and should spend enough time with each person to understand their health concerns and perform the adjustment carefully. I would strongly advise anyone who has not been to a chiropractor before to shop around before committing.

Dr. Watson went over my symptoms and my history and came up with a treatment plan quickly. He was able to relieve me of some of my pain immediately and has given me exercises that are proving to reduce my pain.
