I had my first massage here a few months back and I was incredibly nervous because I didn't know what to expect, but once I arrived, all the staff were so incredibly nice and welcoming. My masseuse walked me through everything, and gave me an assessment (free assessment before your first appointment), and it was great learning about my body structure. The actual massage was 45 minutes and only $12! ($12 for Fanshawe staff, student and alumnae, $25 for general public) - no tax no tip. The clinic is also very professional, and ask for consent for everything. A few things to recognize: - Massages are given in one big room with hospital curtains creating separate spaces, and around 10 people can get a massage all at once. In other words, you can hear people walk and talk during your massage (not as relaxing compared to a regular massage clinic) - The lights are very bright, and since it's 1 large room, there's no way to dim the lights or turn them off - Their hours of operation are quite short, and sometimes booking can be difficult. Overall, I love the Mend Massage Clinic and I would recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff are very friendly and professional, it's not the most elegant clinic but it'll leave you feeling relaxed and welcomed.

The young lady at the front misleads with getting you into their membership which charges your card…read morewithout permission. Promised of not having to pay for the membership but failed to mention I had to come in every month to get that discount and if I don't they charge my Visa (apparently I missed two months)...I was told that it just cost nothing to be their member but as long as I'm a member I get the cheaper rate, but what she didn't say was I had to come in everytime for a year if not they take my money. When I wanted to cancel membership the same lady wants $70 something to cancel it?!?! She skipped all this, and at the end I'm short $70 just for being a members. Not worth it, and honestly she can tone down her attitude specially when she's costing someone money.
