After the pre wedding formalities the bar opened and starters were served (seekh kebab, chicken tikka, chana masala and aloo tiki). Then the DJ played and the piece de resistance was a set by the legendary Punjabi Bhangra singer Sardara Gill- what class and nostalgia!! Dinner was then dished up by way of buffet service and was again superb (chicken masala, daal, rice, vegetable tawa, naan and sweet was rasmalai). The dancing then carried into the night!!

When booking the room we used the notes section to inform the hotel that we were with the wedding party but that it was also 21st birthday celebrations during our stay. Therefore we asked if they could do anything special it would be greatly appreciated. We got a lot more than we expected! We were upgraded to the deluxe suite (which was lovely!), given a birthday card and some chocolates. We were so pleasantly surprised! It also made a lovely environment for getting all glammed up ready for the wedding. The next morning we also found out we had been given a complimentary breakfast - which is usually priced at £10pp. Therefore our already cheap stay of £34.20 was becoming a massive bargain!! Kindness and generosity of this type is few and far between but really made for a very welcoming and relaxing stay. Especially when we were getting up the night after the wedding to a 4 and a half hour drive back to Glasgow! The sleep quality of the suite was simply amazing - and the black out blinds really did their job - I couldn't believe it was 9 am when I woke up, I thought it was the middle of the night! Thank-you very much Cedar Court for such a lovely treat and making us feel like VIP guests! I would definitely recommend to those staying in the area. Whether it is just a room whilst you're visiting family, a business event or a wedding - they're sure to meet your needs. Very impressed.

I'd stay here again without question and would highly recommend it! The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because we were in a big group and there is not a lot of lobby space/space to sit and chill. This meant we weren't able to spend as much time together hanging out.

There is no visible on-site security and guest floors are accessible by an open main staircase. Anyone can walk in off the street and go right up. Parking is now a public access lot that requires a specific app to use, which is a bit of a nightmare. The property is in a bit of general disrepair and neglect. Attention to detail is lacking in cleaning and maintenance. It appears there was once a mini fridge in the room but it's been removed and is just an empty space. Staff are generally disinclined to do more than the bare minimum.

I found service to be variable with the bright,helpful attitude of some of the staff being offset by lackadaisical service of some of the bar staff whose knowledge of drinks and customer service combined could be written on a very small postage stamp with room left for their long overdue letter of resignation. TV - This only had 5 basic channels on, so advise to take a laptop with some Dvd's if u wanting a night in. This venue is most definately on our hit list of regular dining venues now - to pay £10 for three courses, when you can pay almost that for one course in most pubs... well it's staggering. We were even allowed to change the wine into two generous coffees after (as we don't usually drink alcohol when eating a good meal) Highly recommended, particularly for the price, and quality of dining venue.

While the staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Bradford are lovely, extremely friendly and very…read morehelpful (which is the basis for my 2 stars), the facilitiies leave a lot to be desired. I have stayed at this Holiday Inn 3 times in the last 2 years and each time I am surprised about how bad the facilities are. Firstly, the window always sound like they are open and are very drafty. You really need to keep the radiator on, even if its not that cold outside. The TV's date back to the 1990's and there is not even a main light in the rooms. So when you are in the room in the evening, there is only a dim corner light available to light the room, which is not very nice! There are two good things, firstly Breakfast is included, which is always nice and secondly there is free wi-fi available for all guests, you just have to ask. That is very useful I must say! Overall, its really not the nicest place to stay!
