Camp Kiss-A-Pet is a year round day camp for dogs and overnight camp for dogs and cats to provide your pet a vacation while you are away. Unike traditional boarding facilities, Camp Kiss-A-Pet is an interactive camp retreat where our campers can play all day, take trail hikes, do arts and crafts, and enjoy interaction with the camp counselors. In addition, our Camp Host is a licensed veterinarian offering preventative care to eliminate the hassel of an extra trip to the veterinarian to update vaccine and parasite control. Her years of veterinary medicine experience provides our campers' parents the peace of mind that any pre-existing condition or unexpected boo-boo will be addressed by a professional.
Not only do we care about or campers, but we care about our camp. Our facility is environmentally conscious and green! It has been built with reclaimed lumber, plumbing and lighting, as well as recycled fencing, kennels, play structures, furnishings and cabinetry.

History
Established in 2014.
Dr. Kristina Fischer, a long time veterinarian, opened an upscale day camp and overnight boarding facility in December 2014.
Meet the Business Owner: Kristina F.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Kristina Fischer is aware of the anxieties that both an owner and a pet face when separated, as well as the stresses of planning a vacation. That is why she has provided an option that offers an active camp-like environment where animals can play free of the confines of a kennel.
Her medical training allows you the convenience of one stop boarding. A licensed and accredited veterinarian for 20 years, she can provide the necessary vaccinations and preventative parasite control on the premises.
Understanding that many pet owners are hesitant to leave their beloved pets that have medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease in the hands of untrained personnel, Dr. Fischer hopes to reassure you that she can provide these campers with appropriate medication administration and monitoring every day as she is on the premises. Now owners need not avoid a vacation or leave a pet in a veterinary hospital cooped up in a confined kennel.
