I came to them when they first opened and I have tried to give them a chance. However Dr Angela…read moreXavier and her staff are the most unprofessional people I have come across in awhile. I went to Dr Xavier for a physical. I complained of having chest pains. One would think she would give me an EKG. I don't know what's needed and apparently neither does she. She writes a script for a stress cardio gram that gets denied the day before I'm supposed to go in on Wednesday. I call Thursday morning just to see where we are with a preauthorization. Dr Xavier tells me she doesn't know how long it will be, that it's a process. I'm like should I give it a week? She says she doesn't know. So I'm fed up at this point. I'm the one having chest pains but she doesn't seem to care. No worries. I fixed that. I had chest pains today and came to urgent care for blood work and an EKG. THE SAME THING SHE SHOULD'VE DONE. Since Dr Xavier acted like I was bothering her with my questions, I've found a doctor that will listen. So, being a start up doctor's office, she should have more professional people that KNOW what they're talking about. Because with my PPO, I can go ANYWHERE without your lazy attitude or consent. For all she knew, I could've been having symptoms of a heart attack or stroke. Thank God I went to the hospital to find out what's wrong. NEVER SETTLE FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOCTORS that don't seem to care! BE YOUR IWN ADVOCATE BECAUSE IT CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE! If I could rate this place a ZERO I would! I won't be bothering her EVER again!

I had a persistent issue that had not been properly addressed at another location. Shannon immediately addressed my concerns and assessed the problem. She took time to educate me and make sure that I was comfortable with the information I was receiving. Her bedside manner is impeccable. Other staff were efficient and personable. I was very comfortable during my entire visit. I left feeling confident that my issue would be resolved through prescribed medication and care instructions. I will definitely move forward with Epic health, with this being my primary location.

Epic Health has been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I've ever had…read more First, you cannot reach the clinic directly. Everything goes through a call center, and the communication is a complete disaster. Second, I specifically scheduled my annual appointment with an MD, but at the appointment I ended up seeing an NP instead. Patients should be informed clearly ahead of time when provider changes happen. Third, the billing/EOB was absolutely shocking -- 12 pages full of diagnosis and billing codes that made it look like I'm a chronically ill patient requiring complex ongoing care. I came in for a simple annual physical and routine bloodwork. I did not raise any medical concerns or request treatment for chronic conditions. The amount of coding attached to a basic preventive visit feels excessive and very concerning. Finally, after the appointment, the system automatically scheduled a follow-up visit two months later. I canceled it twice, yet I still received calls pressuring me to reschedule. At that point, the entire experience started feeling more like a billing machine than patient care. The whole situation honestly feels surreal. Patients deserve transparency, accurate billing, and respect for their time and choices.
