The checking in for my appointment was perfect and easy, and the front desk girls were great. Dr Michael Ellenberg explained the process in detail, had great bedside manner, was professional, friendly and very concerned about my elbow pain. I see Ruth here for reflexology and it's by far and away the best thing that I've ever done for…read moremyself. I have a fairly stressful life, and Dr. Shindler suggested that I give it a go to help relieve stress. Well after my first session, I was driving home, hit a TON of traffic on I-275, and it didn't bother me in the least. It was the strangest feeling in the world - like someone took my mean friend away, and I didn't realize how mean that little guy was until he was gone. I have had reflexology in the past, and thought, "sure this is a nice foot massage", but that is not what reflexology is in the least when you're with Ruth. It's just amazing, amazing work. She's passionate, perceptive, kind, and so so much more. I really don't have enough good words to say about Ruth. Give her a try, and you'll try to hunt me down to thank me for making your life awesome. Dr. Shindler is also awesome. He's very easy to talk to, and is open to different ways of healing, including hypnosis. I did hypnosis once, and he will make a recording of the session for you to do at home. This also helped me reduce stress levels - but obviously you can use hypnotism to help with a lot of different issues. Overall, there aren't enough words to express how thankful I am that this office is here... we so quickly brush off things like stress, and other life stuffs, and how they play a role in our health. Nice to see a doctor's office understand.

I first chose his office because they were open to discussion regarding vaccinations. Together, we've made a schedule that works for us. We've also been seen by Michelle Hass, PA-C. They've been great with scheduling appointments for my daughter and myself back-to-back.

Three stars is the average between the totally condescending, patient-hostile front desk staff, and…read morethe high quality doctors. Perhaps the doctors are so busy that the staff attempts to drive away potential patients. Apparently, when a sick patient recently arrived for a scheduled appointment, the staff turned them away because they were sick (could be COVID you know, or not). Requesting that they at least talk to the doctor about their illness via teleconference during their scheduled appointment time, they were seemingly told NO, the doctor can't talk to you (too busy - even though the visit was scheduled?)! So... it seems you should only go to the doctor if you are feeling well... If you can brave the Soviet-style receptionists or somehow sneak past them, the rest is fine.

It's a bonus that he always has a pleasant demeanor and is upbeat and funny. His office staff are absolutely the best. Jamie, Dawn, Sherry, and Adrianne have never been anything but kind, patient, and understanding. They truly make a patient feel special, cared for, and well looked after. (I see them every week, as I get allergy shots in the office.) To say that they go above and beyond would be an understatement! I've never been so impressed with a medical practice. It should be noted that I'm presently without health insurance - they're very discreet and incredibly thoughtful about helping me keep expenses down. I'll be going to this office as long as both the practice and I both exist!

He's thorough when he knows what he's talking about, honest when he doesn't, and doesn't dance around with platitudes. I'm going to guess that's a bit off-putting by people who are used to being coddled, but for me, I really appreciate his approach. I don't want to be pals and talk about the Tigers game for 8 of the 10 minutes he's in the room. I want to not feel sick. Done and done. Getting a same-day appointment isn't too difficult if you've got something legit, and though it may not be with the Doctor himself, his PA is at least as good. I've never once felt like "Okay, go get the doctor" when I've seen her. I also appreciate not being left in the waiting room forever, or being brought back near my appointment, only to be left in the exam room for 45 minutes. When I've asked for a same-day appointment, the longest I've waited was maybe 20 minutes total. With appointments, it's usually about 10 minutes. I'm pretty quick to change doctors when something seems amiss, but I can honestly say that I don't think I've ever been to a practice that's instilled -- and more importantly, earned -- nearly implicit trust.
