The trees are across the street from my house and no where near my properties. Needed some limbs cut from the tornado on July 28th. They were laying on the electric lines. Today, august 28th, they came to "evaluate" the situation. I went out to talk to them and was met with immediate attitude. They were not going to do the job today, only evaluate it. Personally, I didn't care if the limbs stayed on the lines because they would eventually rip the lines off the poles. I just called to save them some problems down the line. In my opinion, the only reason they eventually did the job today, is that I was taking pictures. They absolutely wouldn't trim anything near the cable lines, only electric. Technically, the branches were all over all the lines, not just electric. The tornado was an act of god, an emergent situation. Aren't the rules ridiculous? We pay huge amounts for our electricity on the cape and really don't need the attitude. I'm not impressed with Eversource or their employees.
