After seeing the amazing photographs Jonathan took of my sister's wedding in Greece in 2015, my then fiancé and I knew that when we were planning our wedding, Jonathan would need to be our photographer. My now wife and I decided to get married in Sydney as part of a larger trip we were planning (we're…read morefrom the US). We realized pretty quickly that we had no idea what we were doing as neither of us had been to Australia. We didn't know anything about the marriage process there, locations for the ceremony, or even what we should do in bad weather. We did a good deal research on celebrants and spoke to a few before we skyped with Meggan. Of everyone we spoke to, Meggan was the one who seemed to best understand what we wanted for our ceremony and also gave the most helpful suggestions for how we could achieve it. We could tell Meggan was on the same wavelength as us, so we moved forward with her as our celebrant. We wanted a really small and simple ceremony, so we went with Meggan's "no-frills" option. Even with this option, Meggan did all the necessary paperwork, helped us make decisions in the time we needed to, and she was incredibly patient with us (we're contradictorily picky and indecisive). Meggan also skyped with us a few days before the ceremony so we'd all be on the same page for how it would go, which made us feel ready and gave us an opportunity to clear up any last minute questions we had. The ceremony itself was everything we hoped for: simple, sweet, and fun. Meggan was wonderful to work with and we felt comfortable that we were in good hands throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Meggan as a celebrant for anyone looking to get married in Sydney.
