Had R.A.C out to my car low idle no revs said it sounds like an injector as the car is firing on…read more3.At this time the car was already booked in at another well known local garage..The local garage diagnosed a faulty actuator which would cost around £300 to replace myself having looked into the cost of an exchange actuator which was £100 looks like the local garage wanted £200 to fit it .Which i did my self a 10 min job 3 bolts and a plug and did not need any codes clearing from the ecu.After changing the actuator on the car it was the same low idle no revs. On the day i was supposed to take the car to the well known local garage the car wouldn't start so i called out a mobile mechanic who got the car running again.So i i had to book my car in again but not with the well known local garage .When the rac patrolman fixed my car the best he could he recommended A.V.R .And having a new key cut for the car a few weeks previous to my problems kings Lynn car keys suggested avr ..I was well pleased with the service from AVR i was expecting a huge bill for 2 injectors and labour costs but it was a very good price for the work they did.The car was diagnosed as the guy drove past me in my car a quick chat with him he had the experience and the knowledge and said what it was and it turned out to be the problem.I will use this garage again no hesitation.

My VW Scirocco broke down last Sunday but I work at the local college so managed to get it to them…read moreto let the motor vehicle department have a look. There was a suspected issue with the injectors which they couldn't fix so rang the VW Centre who said to bring it down and they would have a look. I dropped it off Monday lunch time and was told they would hopefully look at it that afternoon and ring me. They didn't, so I rang back to find out what was going on to be told they were busy and they would look at it the next day and ring me, they didn't so I rang back again to be told they were busy. I then received a phone call from the boss who said I needed to collect my car as I keep ringing up and hassling his staff! I was very taken back by this as they told me they would ring me and didn't. After a brief conversation (and being told multiple times they were busy) he said he would look at it and let me know but this may take a few days. They had my car over a week and I waited for their call (as I was now worried to ring them). I then received a phone call from the boss telling me they haven't had time to look at it and I need to pick it up and take it somewhere else! Obviously I was very annoyed at this point and had quite a heated conversation with the owner. I told him this was the worst customer service I had ever received when he became very threatening and told me 'not to bring my attitude when I collect my car!' I collected my car this morning and was told by the boss that 'If I went to Tesco I wouldn't expect to go to the front of the queue' while calling me 'fella'! This man is the most unprofessional, rude, condescending person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. Unfortunately the college had wiped the error codes, but had written them down on a piece of paper, which I gave to the garage when I dropped the car off. Even though the boss was not happy about this as he wanted 'live data'. When I collected the car and asked for this piece of paper so I could take it to another garage he told me he had 'put it in the bin'! Do you self a favour and don't take your car to this garage, the worst service I have ever received and will never go back!
