I was here in July so nothing frozen and no fall colors but still magnificent. a 21 meter (64 foot) cascade roars away. The path through the woods is very well marked and easy to follow up it's clear that some folks think it's okay to wander off the path. I stuck to the route and the observation platform. Partly because I'm a rule follow and partly because I'm the clumsy sort that would fall and hurt myself. Leave only footprints, take only photos. We went from Sherman Falls to Tiffany Falls. The walk is only about 20 minutes along the Bruce Trail. Both Waterfalls look similar though they're so close, so you might as well check both out. If you go during a long weekend as I did, expect more people. More challenging to take a photo without people in your way. There's an upper deck with a better vantage point to take a picture with the waterfall in the background. If you don't mind getting your shoes wet, step in front of the falls for your optimal pic.

Following the address on Google, I ended up parking at Cliffview Park (free lot), walking down a flight of metal stairs, cutting through another parking lot, then a golf course, and through a fence to the falls. I believe you can also park at the bottom of the metal staircase, but I'm not sure if that lot is for club members only. Once you climb through the cut fence, it's a matter of navigating through scattered rocks and boulders along a stream, straight to the waterfall. Rocks can be loose or slippery, so wear the proper footwear. Do not wear your nice, new, white runners 'cause the surrounding area is full of red clay, so your pants/shoes will get dirty. Waterfall wasn't at full stream when I went, but it was pretty and relaxing. Hike not for people with young children or strollers, so keep that in mind!

The salad and the fries were acceptable but nothing to rave about. A few people came in during the time I ate there but they were really searching for the shawarma place next door. The prices were were pretty much on par with Master Steaks a few doors down the road, but the quality is simply not there. I drove by the restaurant everyday but have not once think of a return. If you want a cheap steak, try your luck at Master Steaks, they can *sometimes* give you a very good meal for the money.

The city of Orangeville has an Art Walk of Tree Sculptures: a collection of 50+ pieces created by over 19 artists. Most can be found along Broadway but there are others scattered about town. TIPS - Make sure to stop by the Visitor's Info Centre for a brochure which contains a map, info on the artists and info on some of the pieces. You can also download a copy here http://www.orangeville.ca/get-file/430. - Wear comfortable shoes, the distance between the first and last sculptures is more than 5km, this doesn't account for the others found along the side streets. - Wear sunscreen and bring water if you plan to visit during the warm months. Not all paths are shaded by trees. - For best lighting for pictures, plan to visit soon after sunrise or before sunset. The midday sun is too bright for good pictures. - Definitely stop by one of the eateries in Downtown for a break or two, to eat and rest your feet. I wouldn't recommend visiting Orangeville just for the tree sculptures; but it would definitely be a nice side attraction if you were in the area, attending one of the town's festivals, or visiting Island Lake.

The town has a lot of parks and greenery that I still need to check out. Late last year, I stayed in Oakville for a couple of days. it was enjoyable. I found Justeas through the Too Good To Go app. It's a cool place to get bubble tea, bubble waffles, popcorn chicken, and bento boxes. i wish that I lived in this town just for this business. I also spent some time at Oakville Place. I normally don't hit malls because it's a death trap for me spending copious amounts on items that I don't need. However, I dig this mall. One corridor of this mall was my jam. Claire's. Shoppers Drug Mart. LL Bean. Kernels. Sushi Mac. I'd be happy shopping in this small section alone. My favourite Fortinos is in Oakville on Neyagawa. I was so happy when I entered this gigantic supermarket with slices of pizza greeting me. None of the Fortinos locations compare to the selection of items at this store, from prepared food, to produce. I have never had a bad meal here. From Dairy Queen, to Pho Mama, I will always have fond memories hanging out with my friend and discovering this cool town. It's never dull. If Markham ever becomes boring to me, I'd move to Oakville for a change. (55)
