Tender Loving Childcare - My sons success story

The Director Lindsay Singleton is a very young and immature young woman that needs a lot of experience behind her belt. My son was 3 at the time we utilized this establishment for day care services. There isn't much availability in Walhalla SC for options of Daycare. He's currently 9yo. First In order to provide a fair representation I must provide some insight on my sons background. I was in a bad relationship that caused me to up and take my son and leave in the middle of the night. My sons entire world changed in less than 24 hours. We moved from Fargo ND to back to my hometown in Walhalla. I was able to pack his clothes and a few toys. The transition were hard for my son, honestly they adjustments were hard on me. So I cannot fathom how difficult the transition is would be for my sweet boy. Genetically, my sons father and myself were diagnosed with combined ADHD in our adolescent years. So my son had a fairly good chance of inheriting, ADHD. I knew he would need an IEP- (individual Education Plan) honestly every child should have one. It helps to make sure each child is able to meet their academic goals. The "Director" Lindsey Singleton (if that's what you want to call her) was present for the initial IEP meeting. As the director she had NO daily interaction with my son. Her words to me about my son are still burned in my head. She stated and I quote "Corey will never be in a regular education classroom". She insinuated he would never graduate High-school or be much of a contributing citizen. She prejudged him and casted him away at 3 years old. This is supposedly a woman with a Childhood Development Degree. Let it be known, my son was enrolled in Pre-K with an IEP, and was able to maintain his academic growth. He's been in a "REGULAR EDUCATION CLASSROOM Setting since his kindergarten year. He walks in his Elementary school and every student and every single Faculty member and Teacher knows his name. They adore him. He has no behavioral issues. He did have additional resources for his IEP. This year he made A/B honor roll and he earned the Principals Award for his outstanding Leadership and his academic achievements. The biggest mistake was enrolling him at Lindsays crummy judgmental daycare. He's thriving. Words cannot express my gratitude for the Great and AMAZING Teachers and positive role models he had after leaving her treacherous establishment.
