Therefore, I was very thankful when my wife shared that she found a reputable & cost effective esthetician in close proximity to our home. After seeing my wife's skin the days following her appointment, I immediately preceded to fill out Lindy's online client intake form. Generally, Lindy is booked solid; however, I was fortunate to absorb an appointment that was cancelled by a client. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Lindy shortly after stepping out of my vehicle. Lindy led me into her quiet and clean skin studio, in which she proceeded to inquire about any concerns that I have pertaining to my skin. I shared with Lindy that I suffered from cystic acne in my teens and early 20's; therefore, I was looking for a treatment to remove some acne scars. She suggested that I have a special treatment that would gradually remove the scarring, which led to me scheduling a future appointment to begin the treatment. As Lindy began the process, we engaged in casual conversation that took my mind away from the slight discomfort of the facial (I have a low pain tolerance when it comes to face treatments). In between conversation, Lindy did a great job of checking in to make sure that I was ok. Following the treatment, I was amazed at the appearance of my skin. It seemed like my skin looked more rejuvenated as the days passed, and the Lyra cleanser that I purchased from Lindy complimented my sensitive skin. I've had a couple makeup artists compliment my skin, so it's clearly working! Each following facial, Lindy checks in to see if my skin has been okay and to see if anything needs to be changed. I like how Clear Day does their research for each product and works as a team to provide the best service. My skin has never looked better and I am surprised at the length of time for my results. I do want to emphasize that everyone's skin reacts differently to each product. I do want to emphasize that it will feel costly coming in every two weeks at the start of your treatment but investing in your skin is very rewarding when you see results. Don't expect to finish a product if there are changes to your regimen. You have to be open to trial and error. I honestly would rather have someone choose products than myself. I have been researching the latest trends and been on a strict ingredient list and wasn't all satisfied. I do wish I can get samples instead of buying products but then I understand you won't know results until you try it for a period of time. After lots of trials of different products, I think I finally have a good routine so I'm crossing my fingers! Honestly, I wish I found Clear Day years ago as I am in my late 20s and have dealt with acne since elementary school. I also have allergies and lots of oils break me out so most of their products work well for me. Except I did have to stop on of their provided sunscreens for dry skin because I am allergic to Macadamia. I had great success with dermatologists but then my insurance changes or money becomes an issue. If you've been to a dermatologist they always prescribe the usual: birth control, tretinoin, and spironolactone and I was tired of relying on medication. Never took Accutane, but I have tried other known brands to help with acne. I recommend this clinic to anyone tired of buying too many products and can't seem to find a consistent regimen! I chose this clinic because I love how they are ingredient oriented, they show their prices on their website, and have actual results which are very rare to see!

If you are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable esthetician who will actually take her time in exploring your skin needs, then Camarillo salon is the place to go too! I had the pleasure of receiving a customized facial from Tammy and I was absolutely blown away from how much time, patience and effort she placed into my skin and ensuring that my needs were met. This salon is definitely a hidden little gem that I'd always pass by and finally got to experience first hand. They have a beautiful little art room & different rooms dedicated to selling vintage jewelry pieces-I fell in love! When I was escorted into the facial room, it smelled absolutely delicious in there, with fresh flowers blooming on the table and a nice air humidifier. The place was very clean, hygienic and tidy which I can definitely appreciate. Tammy spent almost 2 hours with me and was an absolute delight- she explain thoroughly each treatment we were doing on my face right before she'd perform the treatment & honestly, I couldn't feel any calmer, soothed and better. After leaving, I looked into the mirror and was stunned at how much my skin was truly glowing and just looked much more youthful and even complexioned. I entered Camarillo Salon with my Girl for her haircut as a birthday gift. I was impressed with the atmoshere, as it's more of a boutique style salon... you don't seem to find that anymore. Well, we were greeted by a nice lady with the white coat on. She had a nice, warm smile, very friendly, and professional. I sat and watched as I never seemed to pay attention to a fancy haircut. I was impressed as the "Red Headed" stylist seemed to know what she was doing. I though to myself she must have gone to one of those fancy "French" Hair Academies. It was nice to be greeted and offered a beverage from their friendly staff, as I waited. I was hesitant on going there since I read a couple of negative reviews that were posted from years ago. I figure All businesses have ups and downs.. but i'm glad we went. Looks like this Salon restructured somehow and got it together. They are a as friendly as they are talented. I was long over due for color and care. I'd been doing my own hair and it was dark, dry and brittle. I walked into Camarillo Salon and Day Spa and was greeted by my hairdresser. She was ready and expecting me. I had told her over the phone what I had been doing to my hair. She planned out some options for me. I needed to calm my color with a little stripping, color my roots enough to cover the grey, add shine and balance to the rest of my hair and condition deeply. She did it all and walked me through step by step. The Salon itself is eclectic. That is a style appreciated by the artsy and fun-spirited! She is very easy to book with and is always on time. The salon is so serene for being located on a busy road and all of the ladies are so friendly. They have a parking space which I have never seen full but there is also street parking if needed.

I've been going to Salon Cheveux on Laguna Blvd for a while now, and it's one of those places that…read moreimmediately feels calm the second you walk in. It's tucked into a really quiet strip mall with plenty of parking, which already makes the whole experience feel easy and I won't lie, I love that Pets To Go is right there too, so I can turn it into a little two-for-one stop and feel extra productive that day. Ken and Kat are both amazing. Ken takes care of my mom, and Kat takes care of me and my very specific teen, which honestly says everything. She just gets it. Whether it's color or a cut, I can sit down, explain what I'm thinking, and know it's going to come out right. That kind of trust is not easy to find. One of my favorite parts though is the shampoo, which sounds small but it's not here. The back room is super quiet and relaxing, and Kat has the best head massage technique where you're sitting there thinking please don't stop yet. It turns into this whole moment instead of just part of the appointment, especially when you walk in a little stressed and walk out feeling reset. Everything is always clean, nothing feels rushed, and the whole space just has this calm energy that makes you actually enjoy being there, not just checking it off your list. I would give it 5 stars if the chairs were more comfortable. Helpful tip: Give yourself a little extra time and don't rush out. The shampoo and overall vibe here are part of what make this place so good. It's one of those spots where you go in for hair, but you leave feeling better overall, and that's why I keep coming back.
