Very friendly, warm and welcoming cafe just outside of the centre of Ronda in southern Spain. Me and my friends arrived hot and bothered at around 1.30pm (stupid of us, I know, to be walking around in the afternoon on one of the hottest days of the year, but there you go) and the manager of Camarero sat us down at a table in the shade, ensured the umbrellas were positioned so that when the sun moved we would still be covered and brought us cold drink after cold drink. He came back regularly to check that we were OK and we had a good laugh, even though he couldn't speak much English and none of us could manage much Spanish (beer is Cervesa, right?).
We also had some lunch, all of which was rustic, Spanish food. The Paella was simple but delicious, likewise the pizzas. For four of us, the total bill came to EUR47.50. Not bad when you consider all the drinks we had, the lunch and the ice cream desert that couldn't be resisted! read more
