They advertise that they speak English, and they do when selling something, but all of their important legal documents are only in Spanish, and if you phone them they charge an extra EUR to speak English with you have to agree to before they put the call through.

I had an account in Portugal with them they charge fees although I was making no transactions. Five hundred euros went out of the account over time in fees with no transactions. When the money I had in the bank had almost run out I wrote to them to ask them to close the account explaining that I could not travel as I have cancer. I had no reply so wrote again and still no reply. I tried to contact them via the link on their web site but it doesn't work. I found an email address and sent an email in Spanish to the head office in Spain. They sent an email back saying I must use the link - the one that doesn't work. I had a twelve and a half hour operation for my cancer that is how serious it was. This is just what I don't need at this time. This may seem a simple request, it would take 20 mins at most in the UK but in Spain it has taken me well over a month of constant phones calls etc and this stressful journey is not yet over. I finally thought I had a breakthrough a few days ago when I was advised to leave X amount in account to cover fees and transfer the rest of my money to the UK then all I had to do was to email to say I wanted to cancel account~ End Of. No such luck the information given to me was incorrect, the bank account would be cancelled on the 26th of Dec 2018 (over 1 year and yes I checked this is correct) . I was advised to send some money to cover fees. 'How Much Money' ~ no reply, then an email advising me to send money and the left over balance will be given to charity. No sorry for the misinformation . Just give us more money. Infact this sums up this bank very well. No help unless you pay
