The rudest nastiest receptionist /office people you will ever meet. Uncooperative and do everything in their power not to make appointments!

As a former employee of Dr. Parul Jani, she is the most wonderful provider you can ask for. She…read morewill give you as much time as needed, she does not rush any patient out of her office. She understands that patients are not numbers and a time on a clock, she listens and follows up on all concerns. I loved working for her and if she ever moved to Virginia I would love to see her as my own personal doctor. For those of you who feel she does not keep time, well that maybe so, but one day it may be you who just needs your doctor to listen and help you through what ever you are going through, and not look at her watch and say sorry your 15 min. is up. Love you Dr. Jani!!!!

I cannot recommend this practice or Dr. Jani to anyone. As a new patient, I arrived for my…read moreappointment 15 minutes early with all the necessary paperwork completed and even emailed my insurance cards in advance. However, I was disappointed with the setup of the waiting area, where the staff were hidden behind a wall with sliding glass windows. It felt impersonal and unwelcoming. I stood there for a good five minutes before someone finally slid the glass open to ask if I needed help. I explained that I was here for a new patient appointment and was given a clipboard to fill out the new patient packet, even though I had already completed it. When I mentioned that I had emailed my insurance cards, the staff asked for the email address I sent it to and I said the one that was provided when I picked up the packet a few days ago. They also asked for my license and made a copy before instructing me to have a seat. The waiting area was small and crowded, making it uncomfortable as patients were practically on top of each other. Despite arriving 15 minutes early, I ended up waiting for over an hour and 15 minutes and was still not called back. No staff member came out to provide an update or apologize for the delay. Frustrated, I finally got up and knocked on the privacy glass to express my dissatisfaction. The person behind the glass mentioned that someone was about to come out and get me, but it was too late. First impressions are lasting impressions, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend this doctor or practice to anyone. Buyer beware!

First impressions definitely carry a lot of weight when dealing with a new business. I visited…read moreNeurology yesterday and things were running behind schedule as isn't uncommon in a hospital setting. After checking in at the registration desk I found a seat and waited my turn. The lady who assisted me at the registration desk certainly had the people skills necessary for the job. She was very pleasant and very helpful throughout my visit. I was sitting for about a half hour when she left her desk to come over to me to explain why the EMGs were behind schedule. I sat a while longer before walking up to her window and before I could open my mouth she smiled at me and said they were now cleaning the EMG room, and I was next. She then thanked me for my patience. This is how valuable those acts of kindness are. My letter today could have very easily been a long bitch session because I had to drive all the way from Waldorf, I got there twenty minutes early but wasn't seen by the doctor until more than an hour after my appointment but I was so impressed with the personal attention I was given by Diane G the wait was no big deal. Thank you Diane and thank you Dr. Thomas for your mini electrocution.

Today I received an envelope from Medstar Medical Group - So MD LLC. The envelope had my address…read morehand written on it and postage from a Pitney Bowes machine, (likely in house, from a mail room). The envelope was completely unsealed. No tape, the adhesive untouched. Inside was a Xerox of my health insurance card, taped and composed as a card. My entire health insurance was vulnerable and made available for someone to copy, write down and use for themselves or sell on the Black web. I am outraged that this business could be so entirely careless with my critical personal information. I wanted to believe that my prior bad experience was a one off and just a bad day. This error speaks to a level and consistent carelessness that makes me feel entirely at risk.

I will never ever consult or recommend anyone to consult with Dolores Rhodes, Gastroenterology…read more Also upset with Dr Bright. My mother is 89 and developed an intestinal problem. She was diagnosed with a few minor issues but needed proper diagnosis. Was told to follow up with Rhodes. She met with family and said she would like to schedule testing and to get it on the books. Family was not happy with her snappy disposition and poor bedside mannerism. Scheduled the tests and received a call the same day that she will not see my mother. WTFUDGE? Requested Dr Bright instead and was told she will not treat my mother. Dr Rhodes called me due to my urgent request for answers, told me my mom has a liquid filtering problem (never told this before and it's inaccurate) and if they do find something serious do I want to put her through it. I told her I don't want my mom suffering and she must have a good quality of life. Instinct told me to not let this go..... Thus after several weeks of not feeling good about Dr Rhodes giving up on my mom, I was able to find a specialist that accepted my moms insurance. The new specialist immediately ordered tests and was extremely unhappy mom was blown off from Rhodes and Bright. Sadly, this process has been several months and yesterday a test was done and it's not good. I pray we caught the large tumor (suspected C type tumor) in time given what we have been through. We are seeing a surgeon this week! Note, mom is healthy and only takes one cholesterol pill and eye drops with supplements. No other problems-works out twice per week, independent, walks everywhere! It's beyond me why Rhodes didn't want to provide patient care except age. Will never ever go back to Rhodes and Bright. Done! Follow your instinct and if something isn't right, find someone else to help you.

Run. He doesn't…read morelisten. Doesn't run appropriate bloodwork for yearly physicals, even when prescribing medications where blood should be monitored. He doesn't follow up or consistently track test results that require monitoring, you know..Like do his job. He will make you feel a fool, should you mention a pain, example: During my last physical he asked if I had any issue to discuss. I mentioned some pain I was having in my left forearm. He pretty much rolled his eyes and said, "squeeze my finger", then says, "you have fibromyalgia, and there's nothing that can be done about that". He also said my issues are from stress due to the loss of my son in 2010 and that he has another patient that lost 2-3 kids and that gentleman is getting up everyday and handling it. "Dr" gallatin knows nothing of my life and he should just stick to job and run the bloodwork. I do not have fibromyalgia and, there are things that can be done, if I did. Though I do not have fibromyalgia, I do have many issues that would and SHOULD have been addressed via bloodwork and a thorough physical by the primary physician. Instead, it took me 4 months, specialists and a new primary to get relief. He will also file revisions 6 months later to the insurance company to say during the physical he had to speak to me about my fibromyalgia. In doing so, he got more money for the joke of a physical and...would like a copay for such. That said, in recent months, the practice seems to be putting additional fees on anything, to include using the portal that they push their patients to use for "convenience". Run.
