The fades are very poorly done. I have had barbers switch between multiple sizes of guard to ensure the fade is perfectly blended. That was NOT the experience of my recent visit. I could clearly see the division of where the bald line was inserted and after I asked to blend the fade better; the barber told me that "she did her best, but I will go over it again." Imagine getting a haircut that you are noticeably distraught about and hearing "I did my best." Especially, when on multiple occasions from barbers of different states, Ive been told I have the easiest type of hair to fade. Finally, my line up was crooked and instead of a square hairline, one side of my hair ended up with half of an octagon. (difficult to describe and too embarrassing to post a picture). Although, I did have quite the negative and unfordable experience, there were some positives. The price of the haircut is extremely reasonable. It has been near a decade since I have paid less than $20 for a haircut. $20 included not only the haircut but your hair styled with the product of your choosing, and a free drink. Lastly, the only reason I didn't completely blow up is the service. The staff was extremely kind, made a big effort to get to know me and provide a pleasant experience. The shop was extremely clean and very comfortable with plenty of parking. Lastly, take everything I have said with a grain of salt. I, initially, chose this barbershop due to the amount of high ratings on yelp and google maps. Obviously, they're doing something right. Somehow, I just ended up with a bad haircut. Which happens as nobody is perfect. All in all, I will not be returning but if you are someone with thick wavy hair as myself who loves a good taper and/or fade and nothing else, maybe this isn't the barbershop for you.
