The service is friendly and knowledgeable, and turn-around for chainsaw sharpening is faster than most other places. Their prices are reasonable - perhaps a tad higher than a Big Box, but I'm willing to pay a little more for the service and convenience...and it's good to support the home-town businesses. Thank you, Palmer's Hardware.

We drive 26 total miles just to shop at Wood's, from a larger town with numerous other stores. We are equipping our newly built home with all kitchen/laundry appliances and bedding via this store. The sales and information from Jackie and Brian have been fantastic. Their knowledge and explanations are phenomenal. And all from a small town family run establishment. And we add that we have found prices to be as good as or better than big box locations. We feel well served and treated at Wood's. They have so far made our move from one part of the nation to another, very pleasant and stress free. Thanks Wood's folks.

He was super friendly, honest, was there when we needed him and gave us space when we needed to think about things. We set up a delivery and the gentlemen who came were Zeke and Carlos. They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Also very strong, they couldn't quite make it up our long driveway so had to carry our furniture a good bit of way to the house. They handled our furniture with care and also didn't let the extra work of carrying our furniture get in the way of their friendly demeanor. They also took our old furniture out of the house for us and carried a rocking chair to the basement. Overall excellent customer service from the time we walked through the barn doors to the time the delivery guys left our house. We got a great deal on nice furniture, I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing to purchase furniture.

A place that…read morecannot put prices on their website, trying to pressure me to call is about all I need to see. They may be great, but I don't need to be told to call and jump thru the hoops of some salesperson just to get a price. I am already considering over an hour drive to go get a recliner. I would like to have more than just a catalog picture. Price as well as what fabric options before I burn a tank of gas to get there. Now they may have a wonderful staff and service. I do not know yet. The website and it's lack of information on the pieces I was interested in and the "call for best price" and "request more information" forms to be emailed what I need to know (and giving them my email address in the process) was enough to put me off. Until that changes, I will look elsewhere.

I visited many furniture stores and found out that due to COVID, shipping was backed up to July in some instances. I just couldn't find the perfect couch. I had almost given up when I went to Abbott's. I found the best couch and I was able to take it right off the floor! The salesmen were properly masked and so polite while answering my endless questions. My couch was delivered quickly and even the gentlemen who delivered it were wearing masks. This couch is a beautiful, solid addition to my home and it has passed the nap test. I highly recommend Abbott's.
