Finally made it in for our first visit. We split two sandwiches and these are our thoughts: grilled…read morecheese was just ok, needed more cheese. The roast beef chimichurri was okay, but it felt like it needed something to level out the heat of the chimichurri. I think it would be amazing with some roasted red pepper--slight heat to balance the spice. I know it would change the sandwich to something entirely different, but i think it would be amazing with coleslaw. Bookstore was fine, just a lot less books than I was hoping for. Looks like they keep a mix of more popular/new release titles, mixing in some older favorites. As a librarian I am always going to want more books, so take that with a grain of salt.

My fave is still the beef Chimichurri and my husband loves the Elliott which is on secret menu. Th book selection is small and curated but always on point with great gift selections. I LOVE the community events. From local teachers coming in to read on weekends, to charity and non profit book donations to making food for Neighborhood House. The book clubs are super fun and I always meet new people and see familiar faces. My fave event tho was probably the recent watercolor book workshop! Although Indie Bookstore Day was pretty great too. Great job Novel!

Located in the strip shopping area where Whole Foods and Kohl's are close neighbors. Lots of parking available. When you walk in, you are reminded of the late great Borders. Maybe it is the style of shelving or just the feel, but it is setup so similar. Books, magazines, kitchen items, clothes, jewelry, toys, smart ass stuff, and many other items like windchimes and a wall of puzzles you normally don't expect. Just enough help and sale books. While it does have a membership program yet, you can get on its mailing list. While I was disappointed of the lack of tarot cards, it has what most people want. I didn't have lots of time to stay and look, I look forward to a longer visit when I am up this way next month. A wonderful way to enjoy part of an afternoon and with a good size children section, parents will love showing that reading is a family value.

I grew up coming to this Barnes & Noble, and I'm genuinely so glad this specific location is still…read morearound. I used to come here with my grandma, so walking in still carries a lot of good memories for me. I wish I could have brought her more often before she passed, but in the later years of her life, reading became harder for her because of Alzheimer's. She still loved her knitting books and liked having books around, even if sometimes I think she was mostly pretending to read them. Honestly, that still feels very her. There is something comforting about a real bookstore. The smell of books, the displays, the quiet browsing, the accidental "I came in for one thing and now I live here" energy. The ability to ask an associate for their recommendations and their help in finding something you never expected you might fall in love with This location has always had that classic Barnes & Noble feeling, and I appreciate that it has stayed part of the community while so many bookstores have disappeared. That said, books have gotten expensive, and I have fully become a sellout with Audible and used-book shopping. I'm actually getting ready to downsize my own book collection because some of them deserve a better life with someone who will actually read them again. It would be amazing if Barnes & Noble had a simple used-book trade-in or resale option here. Maybe they do and I'm just not in on the secret, but either way, I'm still grateful this location exists.

They have a Starbucks Cafe and the cheesecake comes from the Cheesecake Factory. There was plenty to choose from to snack on besides the cheesecake. The servers at the cafe were professional and very friendly. Mom had a wheelchair so we appreciated the ramp to get to the seating area for the cafe. The store is well stocked and very clean. The children's area is large and very inviting for the young ones. Next to the children's area is a large display of toys, many of the toys are educational and interactive. They have magazines, toys, journals, cards, books of all types of genres.
