Fantastic shooting range. $20 for non members let's you shoot all day so no need to feel rushed…read morelike the per hour places. For rifles they have 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, and 400 yard. You have to qualify to shoot on the long distance range. Small area for handguns, I think 6 total targets. I believe they are set up at 7 yards and 10 yards. The range officer is knowledgeable, helpful, and makes sure everyone stays safe. Me and 2 of my buddies spent 3 hours here sighting in our rifles and shooting our handguns. The only thing I wish they had was some metal plink targets to shoot at.

If you want horrible service and rude poeple come here!!…read more I've been coming to this outdoor range for about 9 months and have visited around 12 times, paying the $25 daily fee each visit because I wanted to support a small business instead of buying a membership. Unfortunately, today was the final straw because of how the range master treated us. From the moment my friend and I arrived, the attitude was rude and aggressive. While we were still paying and adding targets, we were told to "hurry up and pay." Then we were rushed to put targets up because supposedly everyone was waiting on us, even though other shooters were still downrange changing their own targets. After that, I was told to put away my AR-style 9mm pistol because it "wasn't allowed in the pistol lane," even though it is chambered in 9mm like other pistols. Later, while safely shooting a suppressed pistol, I fired an 8-round magazine at a reasonable pace and was approached again, told to leave, and accused of acting like a fool. At that point, I decided to leave and not spend my money there anymore. Even other customers told me the employee was known for having a bad attitude. He apologized afterward, but by then the experience was already ruined. I respect range safety and rules, but customers should also be treated with professionalism and respect. Sadly, I won't be returning after I recommend this range to many people that are working in town

Just completed the class today and it was a great experience. I was dreading this class since lets…read morebe real it's going to be dry and boring for the most part. But the class is very informative and Lance made the class so easy and enjoyable. Lance went over the important parts of the course and focuses on what we should do in situations and broke things down. IF you pay attention to the class you will pass the written exam it is not rocket science and the way Lance puts the information you will learn the right thing to do. So just pay attention to the course. The classroom was only 4 hours with breaks and he provides you water and sodas. Again very very enjoyable time for this class when I was walking in dreading the course. The class does start promptly at 8am so make sure you are on time! Lance then takes us down to the range a bit away from the class and we get ready to shoot, it is an outdoor range so bring sunglasses if you can because it was a bright sunny day. We got loaded up and he instructed us on how many rounds we will fire and how quickly to fire them. AT 3 yards I used my M&P Shield and it was no problem, we fired 20 rounds total at 3 then moved to 7 yards. Again another 20 rounds not too bad with the shield with a shorter barrel. Then we moved to 15 yards and fired 10 rounds I hit the target and mostly in the 7 range at 15 yards. Again all this is happening with Lance giving us instruction on how many rounds to fire and how quickly to fire. Great class very enjoyable if you are going to take a LTC course take it here with Lance you won't be disappointed. Tip for the range bring a full size pistol with a longer barrel just helps with accuracy, doesn't necessarily have to be the gun you are going to be carrying that you are going to test with.

This time however, I checked their rules on their website and made the trip. Nothing too major, I couldn't shoot the gun I needed to sight in because it was too large a caliber. nothing indicated as much online, but that was fine, I had other guns I needed to shoot, and I could take that one elsewhere. With the place almost entirely to myself, I head down to their 100yd range and get a couple practice shots in to get comfortable. Happy I decide to practice some at range quick firing. Nothing crazy, just trying to shoot accurately from range while being a tad fast. I shot off at most 10 rounds in 15-20 seconds, before I had one of the staff shouting at me to, stop being stupid, go into the shop, get my money and leave." confused, I asked for some minor clarification, as I hadn't broken any rules to my knowledge and there wasn't anyone else there for me to bother. He responded by telling me, "You know what you are doing," before hopping in his mule and driving away. the staff in the office weren't any better. telling me that I was "Mag dumping". which I could almost see, as I was firing a tad fast, and that was against their rules. however they couldn't give me a clear answer how what I was doing constituted a rule break and just kept giving me arbitrary lengths of time to trigger pulls while pointing to their tome of rules while trying to throw me out. All in all, there staff are obsessed with "Da Rulez" and refuse to even work with people to help have a good range environment. For example, if the staffer had just told me I was shooting a tad fast for what they normally allow and to tone it down a little.Instead, they decided to be hardheaded and treat me as less than human, now losing future income.
