Apparently Call-A-Cab (Triple-A-Cab, etc. among other names) is the only game in town so they totally take advantage of their monopoly on Dothan. $25 one way from the airport to the Hampton inn & Suites less than 4 miles away. Tried to call other taxi services with different names and phone numbers. Kept getting the same rude dispatch lady. Third attempt, she told me, "There's like six taxi services on Google. Call a cab for on base soldiers sucked I feel like they over charge and they were always late to pick up the soldier and getting to the destination would suck cause they would take the long alternate routes so you would be late for formation and get into trouble so anyone on fort Rucker or novosel (it was called mother Rucker when I was there) do not rely on this cab service read more

DHR funds my cabs through the Jobs program. I call the NIGHT BEFORE I have to be at work, give a specific time and 98% of the times the cab is late. When I'm off work I try to give a decent time for them to get to me. I'm actually on the phone that's been ringing for damn near FIVE minutes with no one answering. I called at 3:30PM, the dispatcher stated it would be 20 or 30 minutes. That's fine. I call at 3:58PM, she said 10 more minutes. Called at 4:15PM and she stated someone was in their way to me. Called at 4:33PM, NO RESPONSE!! I've been told by drivers that the dispatcher screens calls and ignores people she's blatantly lied to! This is unacceptable especially when they're being paid. read more

If you are a solider at fort Rucker Alabama DO NOT USE THESE CABS!!! It is highway robbery and they take monetary advantage of soldiers, do not show up anywhere near the estimated time given and you will be late! Worst cab service in the US. How they are still in business is a crime. If you need to go somewhere get an Uber! Awful, driver smoked, was extremely rude, my wife was holding a crying baby and he wouldn't help her with her luggage, she decided to get dropped off about half a mile from the original destination and he wanted to charge her an extra $20 for it so she got out and walked, plus there was no meter in the cab so he charged her a "flat fee" that was astronomically high...
