Dr. Moucha came very highly recommended for hip and knee replacement surgery and after getting the runaround for over 2 years from the local orthopedic specialists where I live, several pain management doctors I was referred to, one stating I absolutely have no hip issues, that it is my back, buying every pain relief item on the market for my hips, I knew I could not walk much more without limping everywhere. For me, I was a runner for over 40 years, pounding 6 miles a day, working out like a beast, it all came crashing down and I knew there has to be a better way. Dr Moucha was my lifeline and I loved him right away and had faith that someday I will be out of pain and walk and go back to my daily activities. At my old age of 74, I am still working as a court reporter and really wanted to return to work without pains. He was very caring, friendly and to the point....which is what I want I don't need a doctor to be my best friend I want someone who gets the job done right. I had surgery this past Tuesday, Feb 14, 2023, and from all I was reading online and all the forums I belong to, I expected to be in healing pains. Two days out, my groin and thigh pains are a thing of the past. Hard to believe I feel great Surgery was beyond fantastic. I can't say enough about how well this has turned out for me. I am ecstatic that I can soon pick up where I left off 2 years ago. Even my right hip which is bad feels tolerable. If you are considering a skillful, knowledgeable, and expert surgeon, it is my opinion of course, but he is the one! Also, Mt. Sinai Hospital staff were the best! read more
