This store is huge! I can't believe I've missed this store and I pass down West & Hammer twice a…read moreday literally. They have a lot of authentic Mediterranean, Indian, and Middle Eastern foods that remind me of home. They had a huge fresh meat selection with beef, chicken, lamb, and goat. They had a bakery which had the freshest NAAN, a must try!! They also have fresh hot food daily. I only had a chance to try a couple samosa from their kitchen, chicken, pita o & beef, all were great! Staff was welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be a regular here and look forward to scanning through the aisles to see what I can add to kitchen pantry for all my future recipes.

I ordered the chicken shawarma and a beef samosa. The total was less than $13. There is also a seating area for you to enjoy your food. The shawarma is HUGE!! Enough to split between two people. The wrap that they use is made in house (so I'm assuming, since it tasted so fresh!) and is very soft and chewy in the best way. The chicken was not dry and also flavorful. The man who took my order and made my food asked me if I wanted my shawarma spicy, to which I said yes and he brought the heat!! He sliced the chicken from the vertical rotisserie and then sauteed it with peppers and onions before placing it into a wrap. The combination was so delicious and addicting to eat. I'm surprised not many more people know about this hidden gem inside the grocery store! The beef samosa was good. It had potatoes, ground beef, peas and spices wrapped in a flaky pastry. There is more potato than meat inside but it was a nice treat for $1.99. Service was great, the grocery store is extremely clean and organized. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other things on their menu and also to buy some pistachio ice cream.

My first visit to the weekend Street-Food. It was BBQ galore... it's your mom and pops selling…read moretheir homemade food. The aroma in the air is enticing. Freshly cooked skewer meats, sticky rice, soup and drinks. You can buy veggies and fruits too. Wow... it was amazing. In addition to the grilled foods, there was a Jamaican vendor that sold oxtails, chicken and more. Must try when visiting... his food was bold and delicious. Parking is available on the streets. Bring your own chair if you plan to eat outside. BRING CASH... no tax... no restroom...

i've been going to angel cruz park for years and i love the whole concept. it's awesome seeing all…read morethe lao, thai, cambodian and other food vendors together, and it's been a tradition for like 30 years. but now all i can think about is... why does every other food stand have a portable potty parked right next to it? back in the day vendors would figure it out, hold it, run to a friend's house, or hit a gas station. now it feels like the porta potty is part of the food truck setup. i'm not saying anyone is doing anything wrong, but it's hard to enjoy my food when i'm standing a few feet away from a portable toilet. it just kills the vibe for me. i really wish the park would invest in permanent restrooms, or someone would start a weekend business with a dedicated restroom area away from the food vendors. i'd love to keep supporting everyone because the food is amazing, but the pop-up bathrooms are honestly the reason i stopped going.
