He had called me at 5:18am to provide a courtesy reminder that check-in is ideally 1 hour prior to the scheduled flight and the cut off is 30 minutes before the flight. I had just made it! TSA was quick and although they had to check inside my bag, the TSA agent was friendly and allowed me to open and close my own luggage to prevent damage. We then boarded the plane shortly after and the pilot was a female with a co-pilot and we loaded quickly.

After doing…read moresome research on Google we chose Desert Trails RV Park in El Centro and liked it so much we stayed an extra night! It is conveniently located next to Interstate 8, but road noise was never an issue here, nice and quiet. The park is centered around a 9-hole golf course and is home to mostly permanent residents, but there are plenty of nice, full hookup RV sites available for $45 per night, as well as water/electric only sites. It is pretty, very well maintained, and all of the personnel were nice. We would definitely stay here again!

There was a walk in closet, mini fridge, microwave and the a/c ran cold which was nice because it was well over 100 degrees outside. I parked inside their gated lot. The gate looks brand new so I'm assuming this was a recent addition. I love staying at small family owned businesses instead of giant chain motels or hotels. It feels good supporting real people instead of corporate executives. It's away from the main strip which meant it was nice and quiet. The Mexican Consulate is right across the street and City Hall was a block away so I felt very safe walking my little dog at night. Very convenient for border crossings (only 4 blocks away).

I then took it again to fly back to LAX and there were 7 passengers total. Both times they were the nicest pilots and copilots. Excellent in take off and landings. I would definitely take this route again and use this airline mostly because of the friendly staff and it's affordable too!
