They have great structure and routine for the students, I believe it helps them thrive especially in a school that is advanced with challenging material, but I know it will truly set them up to be successful adults. I have loved all their teachers! Whenever I have concerns I've always felt heard. I'm also thankful for the driveline, I know it can get crazy at times, but is so safe compared to other schools! They constantly have fun events and things for the kids to do. They are great at communication too, I rather get a bunch of emails everyday because I also get busy so I can be up to date on what's happening/book reports/poems/drills/dress down days/parent square/anything and everything! I really am so thankful for the school and the staff!

As much…read moreas I'd like my son to continue here because of the cohort of students he's with, my family just doesn't trust his safety in the hands of Principal H or anyone at Vertex Education. I gave my son the option and he chose to leave. Decisions that are made at the top affect a lot of people and unfortunately, the principal's choices and lack of transparency and honesty affected my son enough to make him want to leave. We try to teach kids to treat others with respect and honesty but if your principal's not willing to do it, then the flag couldn't get any more red. On to better things.

This guy put my son in in-house suspension for a week without even talking to the teacher first and then a week later they found out it was something that my son didn't even do and he did not apologize to my kid or anything. He act like it was still our fault. And called the police on me cause I ripped up the paper that he should have ripped up himself, they just deleted me on Instagram so I posted on here cause I know this will not be taken down

No drama very good education 100% of their students that go there at least get accepted into one or more colleges or universities. I very much recommend this high school if you want to get into a good college or university. Those some people might say. This is a horrible school. I massively disagree with their statement because there has been one to no fights, or Anything like that at the school because they take education over anything and believe that everyone has a chance to go to college and live life successfully

I wouldn't ever recommend this school to ANYONE! If you are looking to enroll your child here…read moreplease seek elsewhere! I'm extremely disappointed with our experience at this school and ultimately decided to unenroll my son. This was his first time here and it was horrible! School started in August and it is currently September. I raised concerns about communication and the support he was receiving, explaining that he has ADHD and sometimes needs instructions repeated or explained differently. However, when he asked for help, he was reportedly told to ask another student instead of receiving additional support. As a new student facing a significant curriculum jump, he became uncomfortable seeking help from his teacher. I was especially concerned when he had a bathroom accident, felt unable to approach his teacher, and remained in soiled clothing all day, resulting in a rash. That same day, he became overheated and visibly red after drinking all the water he had. Although he raised his hand for more, he said the teacher continued calling on other students. He came home sweaty, with a headache, and close to tears. He had bad heat exhaustion from this experience. I was also told that when the teacher became frustrated, she slammed her hand down on the desk or table. This behavior was intimidating and contributed to my son feeling uncomfortable and afraid to ask for help. There was also an upsetting incident involving an art project. My son worked hard on his artwork, but when it was time to display the projects, his was reportedly placed in a location where it could not be seen, while the other students' artwork was displayed. This made him feel singled out and excluded. Regardless of the reason, situations like this should be handled with sensitivity, especially when a child is already struggling to feel comfortable and included in a new school environment. The school also has a bullying problem that was not handled appropriately. When my son stood up for himself, he was the one who got into trouble and was sent home with a "think sheet." It was extremely frustrating to see him disciplined for defending himself while the underlying bullying concerns were not adequately addressed. Children should not be made to feel that speaking up for themselves will result in punishment. A child should feel safe asking for help with basic needs such as using the bathroom, getting water, or understanding schoolwork. I also had concerns about the lack of communication regarding his well-being. I have not received a response from the principal and will escalate these concerns to the regional director. Because I no longer felt comfortable leaving my son in this environment, we chose to unenroll him. Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and respected. I just received a progress report showing that my child has D's, even though the school year only started six weeks ago. If that does not demonstrate how little attention is being given to whether the children actually understand what is being taught, I do not know what will. He has never experienced academic issues like this before.
