I wish I could leave negative stars. Brought our Yukon Deniali here after getting rear ended. It was an approved shop for our insurance carrier. I regret this decision very much. I will say that my estimator was very nice and the location had great communication. The work that they did our our vehicle was awful. It started with this and kept getting worse. After bringing the Yukon home I tried to remove the tow hitch cover and coudln't get it off. It usually just pops off with a twist of the knobs. Got underneath the vehicle and found that it was rigged up with strap clamps. There was no way to get this thing off without cutting the knobs or bending the clamps. I'm guessing the tech thought we never towed anything and would never see it. PIctures of what he used below. They provided the proper parts for me to install myself after I called. Then, first night out we noticed a tail light wasn't working. Found out they crimped a wire and had to fix that. After driving the car a few days it just didn't feel right. Every bounce jarred the body when before this thing felt like it rode on air. The rear bumper wasn't fitting right on the side we got hit on. It was buckled out. I had lost all faith in the this shop based on the first two issues so I called my insurance carrier and had another shop inspect the vehicle to ensure everything was OK. HOLY CRAP, I can't believe what they found. This shop should be fined, put on notice or closed down based on the crap work they did. Pictures below don't even do it justice. I won't even be able to convey everything the other shop pointed out but I'll do my best. Issues with the paint, alignment and body work all around. They cut every corner they could to help them save money and charged full price for this crappy repair. The tried to hammer out the metal where we were hit instead of replacing it which caused the bumper to not fit properly. They even forgot to finish a part of the frame that was hit and showed exposed metal and rust. Their green mark is still on the body of the vehicle proving it was identified but never fixed. The rear suspension they installed wasn't even tightened down well and it was LOOSE. They didn't remove the rear windows when painting so there was build up around them that looked terrible. They did something wrong with the clear coat the new shop showed me. I can't even begin to relay how bad this repair was. They half assed everything. Pics below don't even do it justice. The pink lines are from the new shop identifying issues that werent' fixed. Do not go here, never go here and tell everyone else to not go here. How they got such a high google rating is beyond me. Keep in mind these photos were taken after this shop "repaired" our vehichle and were underneath the bumper they put back on. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this repair and paint shop. I brought my car in to fix damage from an accident that I was not at fault for. Unfortunately, they caused an overspray all over my car and refused to take responsibility for it. After 10 months of trying to get it fixed, they falsely claimed that the car was defective when I brought it in. Overall, the customer service was terrible, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The repair was excellent aside from two things, they took a very long time to return my car (3+weeks) and they did not finish the pinstripe that went in to the repaired section. The cost of the repair seemed ludicrous but the insurance company accepted it. read more

I was involved in a minor accident out of state. The insurance company does not have body shop references in Florida so they sent me a check to cover the cost of repairs caliber refused to even look at the repair as they "don't do work that is covered by insurance companies that they don't have a business relationship with". I literally have a check in hand and they refused to even give me an estimate. read more

Ryan and his staff helped me get my mom's fender bender bumper on her car fixed. I was out of state at the time and back-and-forth via phone calls with Ryan and his staff at the front office insurance was processed the car was fixed looked beautiful and completely a great experience with the shop! read more

This place is amazing. From Savannah at the front desk and her amazing attitude and friendly service. To Jorge my claims adjuster updating me at least every 2-3 days. To the parts guy Nick making sure everything was ordered. You never want to be in a situation where you have a damaged vehicle, but these guys make the process the simplest as ever. I had, by far the best experience taking a car to get it fixed at Caliber Collision in Lutz than I have ever had. They were all extremely friendly, did a fantastic job on my car, had enterprise right next door which made it SO easy and kept me informed several times a week on the status of my car being done. The best part was.........Michael, surprised me by doing me a huge favor for a scratch on my car by not charging me extra. It actually made me cry as it is hard to find that kind of service these days. Thank you all for restoring my faith in people and making the experience a great one. Caliber Collison is very organized and attentive in the repair of our truck. We were able to drop of first thing in the morning and pick it up that same evening. They did a good job fixing about $10K of damage to my CRV BUT there was a noise coming from front repaired area which slowly got worse. I took it to them and RYAN JOHNSON (my service advisor) rode with me and suggested I take it to Honda for diagnosis as it might be the transmission or such. I did this in LATE MAY and Honda found the replaced wheel bearing in pieces and I had to have it replaced. Bill was about $900 which I paid. I took receipt and bearing pices to Ryan and met with MICHAEL the manager. He assured me I would get reimbursed. 3 MONTHS - NOTHING, TOTAL GHOSTING!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! BEWARE!!!! read more

Had some type of acid drip down the drivers side door on our Tundra. Reached out to Calber Collision to strip the door and repaint. Looks brand new! I am amazed at my experience at Caliber Collison! I went through some deep water with my Toyota Highlander. The front grill area broke and the the front end had to be held up with tie wraps. I had received several repair estimates up to $1500 for repair. I went into Caliber and talked with Jorge. He looked at my car and said, let me take it back and let the techs get a good look at the damage. A little while later, he returned with the car repaired! He told me that all it needed was a few new clips and there was no charge! I was speechless!!! Needless to say, if I ever need any body work done on my vehicles, I will check with Caliber first! read more

(This is a long one but please read if you're considering this body shop). I brought my 8th Gen Civic Si into the shop which was a quick and easy process, but from there it went downhill. My Si was in for more than 2 weeks and the only updates I received were some texts that barely told me anything. I had to call and ask what was going on to actually find out information. I received only one call and that was because I wasn't aware my bumper was being repaired not replaced so I brought that in the same day. They had the bright idea to order my replacement headlight from China and the news on the virus started a month and a half ago (could've ordered domestically and saved me a week). So that took forever to get here and when it did, turned out they ordered the wrong headlight. They did make reparations and refunded me the amount for the headlight and reinstalled the originals. Doesn't stop there though. When I went out to inspect the car there were 2 decent sized brand new paint chips and a spider crack in the paint right on the area that was supposed to be repaired. There should not be paint chips on a freshly painted bumper. They offered to fix it but I was tired of waiting at that point and they offered me $100 off the total cost because of those flaws. I'm not sure what caused that but it's either the mechanics negligence in installing the headlight or a poor quality paint job that didn't adhere properly to the bumper. Also my fog lights do not work (those were supposed to be fixed as well). So it looks like basically every aspect of the job was done poorly. If you care about your car, I wouldn't take it here. read more

So let me preface this with the fact that initially the appointment was set up by our insurance company. So see, what had happened was: we had a sunroof pop on one of our vehicles. We filed a claim and were set up with an appointment with Caliber on a Monday, iirc to have them take a look at it, accident wrap it so the elements wouldn't get in, order the part, etc. So Monday comes, I call Caliber just to make sure all is kosher before I head down, since work has to be notified and time taken off and all that good stuff. I speak with a very nice young lady who takes my info, says "yeah, sure you can bring it in a couple hours late if you need to due to work" and all looks good to go. Fast forward an hour or so, and I get a return call from said young lady who notifies me she has spoken with "some of the guys in the back" and they are experiencing an extended turn around time. I ask what kind of extended are we talking about, like a week or so, couple of weeks? No. Oh no no no. "It'll be most likely about three (3) months before we could even look at it." she says. I thank her for her time, and promptly contact my insurance company, updating them. Thankfully I was told then that we could take it to whomever we wanted, as long as they were licensed and certified, so we ended up going to Trinity Collision and got the car in and back in less than a week, good as new. So, Caliber may be a great place, they may have great mechanics who do a bang up job, but not letting insurance companies or clients know up front that the repair time is not going to be anywhere CLOSE to what is initially stated shows lack of organization and professionalism and that alone makes me give them their failing grade. read more

The guys at caliber collision are the best! I took my car there to have some body work done and was more than pleased with the results. Jason was so very helpful. He set my rental up for me and everything and kept me posted on what was going on. They completed the work in a timely manner and even brought my car to me when it was finished so I didn't have to leave work early. Very professional and made a stressful situation so much less stressful. The entire experience was great and I would definitely recommend these guys to everyone I know. Great job guys! Great experience there as a first time customer. When I first went for a consultation I was assisted by Nate - awesome guy with a very trusthworthy, calm demeanor. He was not high pressure and I appreciated his informative and knowledgeable approach. Getting a quote was fast and easy and I was pleased with the estimate. I made an appointment and just as Nate promised, my car was in and out in less than 2 days. Jason was Estimator for the remainder of my service and his responsiveness was impressive. He kept me informed, called when he said he would, and checked me out fairly quickly when I arrived to get my car. Highly recommend this shop. I was only in town for a couple days to visit my parents and wanted to try to get their car repaired over the Christmas week. I called Caliber and explained that a repair they did months ago seemed to come loose. They said to just stop on by and they would check it out. So I stopped by the morning of Christmas Eve, and Nate and his team couldn't have been better. They took the car in back and made some quick adjustments to some body panel clips and quickly gave the car back with no charge and no hassle.
