I should have known better. The day I brought my car in to be repaired from a front end collision, there was a very upset customer. Her car had several problems and she was not happy at all with their service. I have called Caliber Collison in Albany and talked to the manager. He said the broken engine mount, manifold leak, dashboard trouble lights for the accident avoidance system all were due to wear and tear and not a result of the 6800.00 dollar damage front end collision. I reached out to their national customer service and they have not responded to my repair issues. Until I get the service I deserve, I will keep letting everyone know to stay away from Caliber Collision. As a note, I had my F150 repaired at McClinton Auto Repair in Albany. I had a couple of accidents (not my fault) and I had gone to Wilson Motors before to get an estimate. After that, I decided to get a second estimate from Caliber Collision. I called them up and I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for next week- a bit of a wait, but it means they are busy. I went in at my appointment time, and the receptionist was courteous and friendly. I saw some donuts out and asked about them, and I was told they were a day old and fair game. That was nice, hadn't eaten yet. All the staff were very courteous and nice to work with. The staff member took pictures of my car and told me to wait for 15 minutes. Approximately 25 minutes later, the staff member came back with estimates for both claims, saying it took longer than expected because there were two of them. The staff member goes over my options and tells me an option I had that I hadn't thought of. He tells me he will call me on Monday to get my answer as far as what I want to do. Monday rolls around, no phone call, though it was a holiday so no surprise. No call on Tuesday or Wednesday either. I decide to be proactive, and call them myself on Thursday. Told him what I wanted to do and he was cool with it, even though his company doesn't get any business out of it. Here's the meat of my review. Employees were super friendly. Based on how it went, I'm a bit surprised I had to wait a week and a half to get the estimates done- I think they could have scheduled me sooner. Also, they didn't do what they said they would do by forgetting to call me on Monday- since Monday is a holiday I would have counted it if they called on Tuesday or Wednesday, but they did not. So a bit disappointed they never called. But I could have called them, and in the end I did call them, and got the situation squared away fairly quickly. Also, had to spend a fair amount of time waiting for both the staff member to meet me for the appointment and for the estimates to be done, but it was nice to have the estimates made then and there so I didn't have to wait days to find out what the estimates were- nice they took care of it then and there. Overall fairly satisfied with their service and would work with them again. read more

My vehicle was sideswiped on May 27th, 2022, wrecking the passenger side. Caliber Collision did an amazing job of getting the job done in these difficult times. Supply chain issues delayed the repair completion until today July 15th, 2022. My care is like new, detailed, and ready to go. Greg and the staff kept me informed via regular text messages and I would stop by there with my rental to check on repair progress myself. The shop is professional and courteous. The overall service repaired all body, mechanical, and detailing of the interior. The detailing was super nice since when I got hit, I had a 16oz cup of soup go EVERYWHERE inside. The blind spot system was not working when I retrieved the vehicle, but an outside technician happened to be there and diagnosed that the new mirror was a defective part. Fortunately, the part has bee ordered and I will have it installed ASAP. I took the repaired vehicle on a loop of Albany, Corvallis, and Lebanon, and it's like nothing happened. I would definitely give this location of Caliber zero stars if possible. They have ZERO professionalism. I recently went in for an appointment to replace my front bumper. The person behind the counter was clueless as to why I was there, despite being the person who I spoke to on the phone 3 days earlier. It only got worse when she went to get the work approved. The person that came out to look at my truck made it very clear that he wasn't interested in my business right off the bat. He clearly did not read the paperwork from my insurance company and already had his mind made up. He started by walking to the rear of the truck despite the damage clearly being on the front AND the paperwork stating in capital letters that it's the front bumper and then proceeded in being extremely rude in explaining that he can't repair the bumper for the the price the insurance company quoted. Again, if he had read the paperwork, he would have seen that it was a replacement and not a repair. I was actually happy when they recommended going to a different shop. I wouldn't have let them work on my truck anyway. read more

My catalytic converter was stolen and Caiber communicated with me every step of the way. They let me pick up my car in Corvallis instead of Albany because it was closer and more convenient for me. The cost was as expected and they fixed it within a week. All of the employees I spoke to were very nice and helpful. They even cleaned my car for me! I would definitely recommend this shop! read more
