The City of St. Petersburg is well known for funding public artworks in public spaces. This latest addition features three mosaic tile artists who collaborated to create a Florida themed linear treat. The park has plenty of shade trees, a few benches, and a sidewalk around two sides of the park. There are a few parking spaces as well as street parking along the western park border. Bring your lunch or grab something at one of the nearby restaurants and enjoy the sunset over the water.

What an awesome discovery! I have been trying to figure out how to get down to this side road that…read moreruns across the ocean in between Saint Petersburg and Saint Pete Beach fora bit now. And obviously it's a bit tricky trying to keep your focus on safely driving yet trying to find out how in the world people keep on getting over to this road access, only to forget it's existence once now when it's out of sight. Vicious circle! Well last night, I got lucky:) Even though it was late at night, I decided to go explore it since I was finally successful. It's a great fishing area, there's also seems to be a nice spot to just go sit in your car for some peace and quiet in a pretty location, which is what I did. There's also a rest area in the opposite direction on that access road if you are in need and traveling through the area:)
