Everything from incorrectly laying out the footings, to mixing the concrete to overcharging for materials and refusing to provide receipts. He orders the wrong material, too much material, not enough material. I subsequently obtained the receipts from Home Depot proving that he overcharged me by many hundreds of dollars. I strongly suggest you not use Simone Home Remodeling.

This caused leaks that damaged the inside of many homes, including mine. When I called for a warranty, I did not receive a call back. After a week or so of calling, I finally got someone to respond and come out to take a look at my issue. I was told that they would be back to fix the problem the next day. No one showed up and nothing was ever done. This was over a year ago and I cannot get an answer to this day. DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE HIRING ANY CONTRACTOR. I decided to hire him to install my kitchen for my full home remodel. I have zero regrets choosing him for the job. He did an excellent job and he did it right. I really liked his quality of work and his work ethic. I decided to ask him for a couple more estimates for other jobs that still need to be completed. I hired him for those jobs also. Sean's work is top notch at a fair price. Sean knows what he is doing without question. He's honest and has a great deal of pride in his work.... and it shows. He fully honored his contracts and didn't skip on completing any of the work I hired him to do. When he was done for the day he made sure he, and his assistant Zack, cleaned up before they left for the day. I've had several contractors in my house since this project started. There's only two that I would highly recommend. Sean is one of them. The other contractor was the electrician. I still have more work that needs to be done in the future. I trust Sean enough to make sure he will be the contractor I'll call when I'm ready to start getting those jobs completed.

They are the contractors that YOU wished you hired. He is responsive via phone and text. Big Plus - Shows up every day (and sometimes Saturday). Another plus... His team works the full day. His estimate was spot on and very fair. He finished on time, so the project is not dragged out. He is trustworthy and gives honest recommendations (which we followed - glad we did). We started out with a few small items and with the quality of work he was producing - we added on. A few of things we had done new floors installed throughout 90% of the home paint every room popcorn ceiling gone! special designs in the hall and bedroom closet organization shelving recessed medicine cabinet all doors replaced new hardware the main project was our master bath which we love. Ended up in small claims but this company got away with it because of the vaguely worded contract. Verbally, you'll be promised all of your expectations... Change around the scenario on a case by case basis but the "KEY FACTOR" is they took money for a job and didn't complete the work. Try looking up reviews for them, you'll find multiple addresses and slight changes in the name. They block ratings on facebook and go by "W. Cooper & Sons" on google. They also keep their information under a South Amboy location that doesn't exist anymore. Trustworthy? I think not... You'll see they mention Lenny as the man they dealt with -who is the owner of this company under a different address. The "good" reviews are so obviously staged it's actually comical. If this review saves anyone from hiring them, I'm ok with losing out on the $1500 they got away with.
