The restaurant has a very decent view, but to get a table near the window, you need to reserve. Especially on weekends. Also we went there in early autumn and it was a bit chilly so make sure to bring an extra layer. We tried the mango chilly margarita and it was very good. It accompanied the tacos and enchilada well. For dinner we had the fish taco, the chicken taco with pico de gallo and red enchilada. I assume they make their own tortillas as they were very authentic and almost the same as the ones in Mexico. However the fish, somehow, had a very local, very Turkish taste. I don't know how but it gave the taco a Turk-Mex twist. It was very good, we just didn't get the authentic Mexican taste from the Taco despite the good job they made with the tortilla. The enchilada too was wrapped in a great tasting tortilla. While the meet was a bit dry it was all in all a good enchilada. The service was good, attentive, kind and quick. My problem with other Mexican places in Istanbul was the poor quality of service. Los Altos does not have that problem. I think this could be a good spot for a date, or if you wanna go for something different with friends.

When I was here, I felt comfy in the seat that I was in for hours talking and eating with friends. I got the grilled salmon, which they cooked pretty well and had the plate given to me with nice presentation. There is the outdoor part to eat or drink coffee and the inside area also. The inside was pretty quiet and as the night went on, they dimmed the lights even more to set a mood I'm guessing. Either way I enjoyed myself. The service was also good! Get there and easily seated. Small place but people were constantly going in and out and place was buzzing with tourist and locals alike. Menu properly labelled with prices so not a tourist trap. Sat down and ordered the lamb chops and the Adana kebabs (minced meat). Both dishes outstanding. The lamb chops were the best I've ever had. Grilled just right to perfection. Seasoned well with Turkish spices and meat was juicy. The kebabs were the same. Juicy and succulent and perfectly seasoned. A lot bigger than it looks on the exterior and sprawls over several floors with indoor and outdoor sitting areas. I walked by and was intrigued by the myriad number of mugs and flags displayed. That was a couple years ago. This past summer (July 2022) I had the pleasure of dining here with my daughters. Everything we ate was very good (pizza, fries). What was even better was hearing about how the idea for this place was started by a math teacher and how students are give the opportunity to backpack all over the world and bring souvenirs back to be displayed.
