Since I've never had my makeup done professionally before, the bridal trial was very helpful in knowing if there were any changes I wanted to make on the day of. She worked with my through every step to ensure the results were aligned with what I was looking for. Stephanie is laid back and stays calm even when everything else may be chaotic around you! Unlike other makeup artists who often only do one look, Steph is great at it all - natural, smoky, glam, soft/romantic, Halloween. It was very clear she executes the vision of each individual client. Before our trial I explained that I was feeling particularly vulnerable due to a medical condition that slightly changed the appearance of my eyes. She assured me that she knew tricks and techniques we could try to help me feel more like myself. I also explained that I have various allergies, and she was so mindful and respectful of my needs. Our trial was incredibly enjoyable. We decided to explore a smoky eye look, and I loved it! She instructed me to look in the mirror multiple times so that I could see how the look was progressing and tell her what I did/didn't like so that the end result was exactly what I wanted. She also gave me suggestions on products to use during the weeks leading up to the wedding to help with under eye circles. My makeup was perfect on my wedding day, and it lasted all day/night. I did browsing on the Knot and came across Kristen's profile and instantly feel in love with the pictures and the "natural" look she had on her brides. When I found out she was still available on my wedding date, I was ecstatic and quickly set up my trial to lock her in for my big day.
