Amenities - None of the outlets for the desks work, and the molding on them prevents most stuff being plugged in anyway. I had to crawl under the table and remove the desk plus and use the floor plugs directly. Setting - Terrible, the staff do nothing to enforce a good library setting conducive to reading and studying. It's always incredibly loud, lots of screaming kids, and just obnoxious people talking full volume, laughing out loud, or big meeting groups humming around. They let homeless people sleep and malinger around all over the place and it STINKS. Cleanliness - Disgusting, the floors and surfaces are always very dirty and the bathrooms are third world. Shit smeared everywhere, USED TP all over the place, broken soap dispensers off the walls never replaced, never any paper towels, etc. I also witnessed a homeless guy doing drugs off the sink. Comfort - Need more comfy seating. Only a few soft seats and none with feet support or reclining. Most of the chairs are very hard and the desks/tables are set too low. Staff - Seems overall to be friendly but very aloof.

My wife and I went to Italy recently to celebrate both of us turning 50 and our 25th wedding…read moreanniversary. In planning the trip, which began about a year prior, we were recommended through a friend to use Asimina Tours; we were put in contact with Dimitri. Right away, Dimitri worked very closely with us to find out what we were interested in seeing, how long we were looking to stay in Italy, and what our budget was. From there, Dimitri, along with his partner Christina, put together an amazing package that allowed us to see all the sights. We went to Venice, Como, Milan, Florence, Rome, and Sorrento. Along the way, we had many day trips, the majority of which were fantastic. From Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Cinque Terre (a favorite), the Vatican, Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Capri, it was a once in a lifetime experience and we had the most amazing time. Other highlights of the trip were the wine tasting in Tuscany and the private cooking class in Sorrento. They were also very accommodating with some last minute trip ideas. About 2 months prior to leaving, I had learned that one of my favorite bands, Queens of the Stone Age, were going to be performing in Italy while we were there. We contacted Dimitri and he was able to rearrange our hotel and travel accommodations, including a last minute domestic flight, without any issues. Dimitri and Christina made the entire process run smoothly. All of our travel tickets and hotel reservations were all available through the app. Our hotels were centrally located and were within walking distance from the major attractions. We really appreciated the private transportation arrangements to take us from the hotels to the train stations/airports, as well as the private tours. If you are planning on going to the Mediterranean area of Europe, I would highly recommend using Asimina Tours, they were awesome.

The hotels, unique adventures, and travel arrangements all exceeded our highest expectations, on every level. At the start Stella spoke with us at length to understand all of our needs, preferences, budget, style, priorities... and then - quite uncharacteristically - I left everything completely in her hands. She made all of the right choices and created a trip of a lifetime that we will always remember. And she made it all SO easy and stress free, and even during the trip was available 24/7 with updates and to answer any questions we had, wherever we were. We are so grateful to Stella and can't recommend her highly enough.

This place absolutely rocks - definitely come here for the flight lessons!…read more I came here for an introductory helicopter flight lesson on a whim and was extremely impressed from beginning to end. The quality and detail involved in the instruction here is superb - you feel like you're being given all of the information you need, from the basics to more complex properties of the helicopters. There was no point where I felt like the information was overwhelming or over-simplified: it seemed like the right mix of education and beginner's instruction. As for the flight, it's a blast! While I was far from talented at piloting the helicopter, I was given quite a lot of control over time, and I felt increasingly comfortable as time went on. I felt safe and monitored the entire time - even when a lot of wind blew the helicopter around, the instructor was available to make things right quickly and effortlessly. Needless to say, if you have the time and the money, give this place a shot!

He was very personable and knowledgeable. He pointed out various landmarks and places that we would be interested in seeing. He took the time to explain everything and throughly check the vehicle, it made us feel very safe and comfortable. Seth answered all questions, and even cracked a few jokes. I would definitely recommend them for celebrating a special occasion or just a romantic date. Make sure to ask for Seth by name you won't be disappointed!

I've been to a few planetariums, but this one was pretty great, especially given it's random location. I think the person putting on the show was named Bob? Anyway, he did an awesome job. I learned and saw things I had never learned or seen before and he did a great job of explaining things without boring me and the many children in the room to death. Planetariums can make me dizzy and nauseous, also I had to look away periodically, but he moved at a pretty good pace, so I actually could enjoy much of the presentation. It was about light and went into a bit more about planets and the universe later on. I would definitely return.

My husband and I attended for the first time last night and we plan to return for the monthly presentations. The planetarium provides a small and intimate environment for families to learn about different scientific topics and study our local night sky. The planetarium is part of the Arlington Public School system and as such, hosts school aged educational programming in partnership with local schools. However, most of the cost of operating the facility and programming comes from members of the community who support via membership in the Friends of Arlington's Planetarium nonprofit organization. Volunteers actually run the monthly public outreach events. This is a great place to rediscover the beauty of the world and universe around us. There is a small parking lot outside the building and they do offer restrooms, as well as a small gift shop (table) inside. Thanks for an excellent evening. We will be back next month! :-)
