My wife and I went to Italy recently to celebrate both of us turning 50 and our 25th wedding anniversary. In planning the trip, which began about a year prior, we were recommended through a friend to use Asimina Tours; we were put in contact with Dimitri. Right away, Dimitri worked very closely with us to find out what we were interested in seeing, how long we were looking to stay in Italy, and what our budget was. From there, Dimitri, along with his partner Christina, put together an amazing package that allowed us to see all the sights. We went to Venice, Como, Milan, Florence, Rome, and Sorrento. Along the way, we had many day trips, the majority of which were fantastic. From Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Cinque Terre (a favorite), the Vatican, Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Capri, it was a once in a lifetime experience and we had the most amazing time. Other highlights of the trip were the wine tasting in Tuscany and the private cooking class in Sorrento. They were also very accommodating with some last minute trip ideas. About 2 months prior to leaving, I had learned that one of my favorite bands, Queens of the Stone Age, were going to be performing in Italy while we were there. We contacted Dimitri and he was able to rearrange our hotel and travel accommodations, including a last minute domestic flight, without any issues. Dimitri and Christina made the entire process run smoothly. All of our travel tickets and hotel reservations were all available through the app. Our hotels were centrally located and were within walking distance from the major attractions. We really appreciated the private transportation arrangements to take us from the hotels to the train stations/airports, as well as the private tours. If you are planning on going to the Mediterranean area of Europe, I would highly recommend using Asimina Tours, they were awesome. read more

Flawless from start to finish. Stella was absolutely wonderful and created a magical 3 week second honeymoon for us in Greece (Athens, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Santorini, and both Elounda and Chania Crete). The hotels, unique adventures, and travel arrangements all exceeded our highest expectations, on every level. At the start Stella spoke with us at length to understand all of our needs, preferences, budget, style, priorities... and then - quite uncharacteristically - I left everything completely in her hands. She made all of the right choices and created a trip of a lifetime that we will always remember. And she made it all SO easy and stress free, and even during the trip was available 24/7 with updates and to answer any questions we had, wherever we were. We are so grateful to Stella and can't recommend her highly enough. read more

Five star quality all the way. read more

My sisters and I have been talking about doing a trip together for years and this year we decided to make it happen. Dimitris and Christina (Asmina Tours) were so thorough, responsive and gave us just enough ideas to choose from after giving them an idea of what we wanted to do. Their options for accommodations are first class. Clean and comfortable. We felt very taken care of and when we reached out for help or questions they were right there to answer them. If I ever go back to Europe I will definitely call them again! Thank you Dimitris and Christina! read more

I was recommended to Asmina tours by a friend of mine. This was the best referral I've ever received. My wife and I were planning a trip to Greece for our 30th Anniversary. I reached out to Asmina via their online questionnaire and shared our goals for the trip. Panos, our trip consultant, reached out after reviewing our goals. We further articulated what we wanted to do and didn't want to do and he put together the best trip my wife and I have ever been on, while staying within the budget we provided him. We had several private tours, beautiful hotels, and plenty of free time to explore and decompress during our 3 week adventure. There was nothing we had to do once we got there other than to meet our driver to take us to our next destination at the appointed time. All of the flights, ferries, trains and drivers were pre-booked. Panos - we sincerely appreciate everything you did for us and hope to use you again the future for the countries you and your team represent! read more

We highly recommend Asimina Tours if you are looking for a travel service. We recently took a somewhat last-minute trip to Italy and Asimina provided us with excellent recommendations and advice. We had a few questions during our trip and were able to contact a member of their team immediately. They took the stress out of travel and made our trip seamless. We hope to use them again in the future. Thank you, Dimitri, Christina and team! read more

My trip included Malta (through Melinda Fortunato of Best Travel LLC) and Crete, Athens, and Istanbul. The trip was great. The flow was good, the guides were excellent, and the accommodations aligned with my requirements. I will use them again. read more

Amazing! Spectacular! Fabulous! I can go on and on about how wonderful our trip was with Asimina Tours. Panos was exceptional and made our 10th Anniversary to Greece a trip of a lifetime. We gave him a rough description of what we wanted and he hit that ball out of the park and worked his magic. Just wow! Hotels, drivers, excursions. We did not have to think about anything. We just had to show up and have a great time - which we did! Thank you, thank you. Just amazing! read more

We just got back from our honeymoon and it was the most amazing trip ever! My husband and I worked with Panos and he was an absolute pleasure to work with, no problems at all!!! We booked a trip to Greece and went to Athens, Mykonos & Santorini, every resort and excursion was exceptional. All transportation was arranged and had no issues at all! They make it so easy to view your itinerary on an app, so it was clear and all laid out of us! Panos was accessible at all times and got back to us asap! We highly recommend working with Asimina Tours for Greece and we will book them again when we go to Italy! Thank you Panos for everything! read more

I found Asimina through a random internet rabbit hole and feel like I hit the jackpot. My husband and I have done our own vacation planning since the dawn of the internet, but I will never go back to self-researched travel planning to the areas Asimina specializes in. From the initial consult (where do you want to go? when? what level of $?) to our final flight, the experience was seamless. The most incredible feature was an app that Stella helps you download on your phone which literally supports you day by day. Each day's hotel, driver contact info, tickets, restaurant recommendations are all in one place. We had first-class service with all of Stella's contacts (such as drivers, tour guides, etc.) and the hotels she both recommended and arranged based on our own knowledge hit all the right notes. The costs of DIY versus white-glove support are TINY compared to the convenience and comfort you enjoy before and during the travel. THANK YOU STELLA for a once-in-a-lifetime experience I hope to replicate again and again! read more

Excellent Travel Agent - Dimitris Tzimos of Asimina Tours We asked our great travel agent for some advice on spending more time in Greece this Fall and we were fortunate enough to get referred to Dimitris. After some initial questions regarding what we were interested in, he gave us a few ideas to consider. Once we received flight information from the cruise line, he tailor-made the perfect set of tours, down to the time we arrived at the hotel, suggesting we take a nap before going out for dinner and a sunset. Things worked out perfectly: we packed in quite a few incredible sights, were driven by some great drivers, and the tours were led by some wonderful tour guides. What else can one ask for? Well, one of the drivers even took us to his friend's private winery where we enjoyed ourselves even more - all because we talked on the way and he figured out it would probably be a great extra stop. One of the tour guides took us to her personal friend's linen shop - all because she, too, got to know us and knew this detour would be a hit. I highly recommend Dimitris for all your tours in Greece. I can't speak for Italy and Turkey (yet), but I'm sure you'll get the same, great service there, too. We will, for sure, contact Dimitris when we need tours in those 2 countries in the future. read more

We had a fabulous trip planned by Panos. He listened to what we wanted to do, where we wanted to go, and added his own suggestions and local knowledge. The hotels Asimina booked for us were wonderful, the staff even more so. Our planned outings were high-quality, and the transportation planned for us was always excellent. Panos was responsive and friendly, during the trip planning and during our visit. I would absolutely recommend Asimina Tours and working with Panos, and we hope to do so for a future trip! read more

Omg! Stella at Asimina Tours is the best! She was extremely professional, friendly and went above and beyond for our trip to Greece. We went June 2021, super late post, and she helped us plan everything and kept us on budget. We had beautiful 5 star hotels in Athena, Mykonos and Santorini. She took care of the travel to each island, planned amazing tours, scheduled a beautiful sunset cruise, and gave the best restaurant suggestions. During our trip, there was a strike which prevented us from taking our original means of transportation from Mykonos to Santorini. Before we even woke up, Stella had already switched our transportation and had tickets waiting for us. She never missed a beat. When they say you have 24/7 access to the staff they really mean it. They were there for everything. She even helped me plan our Santorini photoshoot which was the best way to end our trip. I highly recommend Asimina Tours. Our trip was so romantic we actually found out July 2021 we were 5 weeks pregnant. We are now working with Stella to plan our Italy 2023 trip. If you want abs amazing vacation talk to Stella- she's awesome read more

Asmina Tours made our Greece honeymoon dreams come true! Panos was such a pleasure to work with, he worked well within our budget, clearly heard what our priorities were for the trip and never steered us wrong! I cannot recommend using Asmina enough if you want to be able to relax on your trip, we had such a piece of mind knowing that every detail, especially transportation, was taken care of and that their team was available if anything did go wrong. But it didn't because the whole week was perfectly planned! read more

Asimina Tours was amazing! From the beginning, our agent Panos took the time to really listen to us in what we wanted to see and do in Greece, and he planned the perfect trip with the right balance of excursions and time off in our budget. This was our first time using a travel agency, and it couldn't have gone better. With all the transfers and travel between the Athens and the Greek islands, it could have easily gone awry, but everything went smoothly and was on time. We also especially loved the accommodations that were booked. All of them were boutique hotels with such great, friendly management and AMAZING breakfasts. Asimina also includes tailored recommendations for things to do and restaurants for each location, which was great for our free days! We had also looked at another travel agency before booking Asimina, and the other came in with at a way higher price for less days and no excursions, so I also believe our trip was very reasonably priced by Asimina. read more

I was referred to Stella of Asimina Tours by a coworker of mine, and I could not be any happier with the level of expertise and professionalism demonstrated by Stella. She helped my group plan an amazing trip to Santorini and Athens, and her insider tips on restaurants and sights to see were all on point. When you go on holiday, you want everything to be as seamless as possible, and all of the arrangements and details were covered by the company's very convenient virtual itinerary. It helped served as a guide and road map for activities. One of the most important aspects of booking with Stella was the accessibility to her. We ran into some AirBnb problems (on our own, not through Asimina tours) and Stella was immediately trying to help us out and find us backup options. When we were running in late in danger of missing a cruise, Stella was trying to help us out and contact the vendor. If I could book the trip again, I'd stay in the places Stella suggested. The travel guide on what to pack and gratuities was also very very informative. Suggestions; 1) Perhaps an interactive map that "flags" where certain landmarks are or where to meet. 2) Placing contact info of vendors also in the itinerary 3) Clarifying if certain purchase activities require a "proof of payment"/eConfirmation with the vendor. read more

Thanks to Asimina tours, our vacation was simply amazing. We worked with Asimina for our trip to Greece to celebrate our anniversary and it was an incredible experience. They made great itinerary recommendations based on our interests and helped find hidden gems we would never have found on our own. They recommended a wine tour in Santorini which was the highlight of that island for us. They also recommended we add Crete to our itinerary which ended up being our favorite location! Our travel advisor was completely accessible before and during our trip and helped make this the smoothest and most enjoyable vacation we've ever had. We were so thankful for the seamless logistics and execution of the entire trip. It was absolutely wonderful to not have to worry about transfers, tickets, etc. We were completely stress free and this was such a difference maker. Shout out to Panos for all his help! read more

You cannot go wrong with Asimina Tours and I would highly recommend working with Panos for your travel plans to Greece. He really listened to our points about what we like to do on vacation and what we like in a destination and picked the perfect locations on the islands we picked as well as amazing accommodations and activities. Panos was so helpful and made us feel so comfortable that we didn't worry about anything on the trip. I cannot say enough positive things about working with Panos and Asimina. Definitely use them! read more

After attempting to plan a dream honeymoon I quickly realized that I needed help. After hearing about Zicasso through a friend I submitted an inquiry for a trip to Greece. I was put in touch with a few agencies that all sounded great but went with Asimina Tours and worked exclusively with Chris. I have never used a travel agency and really didn't know what to expect. Chris called at a mutually convenient time and asked several questions to not only get to know me and my husband better but also to know what we wanted out of our trip. He asked what our general interests were and we discussed length of trip and budget. A day or so later he had our itinerary that was still customizable at this point with multiple options for hotels at each stop along the way. I got back to him with our selections along with feedback for some of his selections. He quickly worked up a new itinerary that sounded great to my husband and me. We were able to make payments on our honeymoon and Chris was available by phone or email to answer any question that popped up along the way. (Seriously, I don't think he sleeps because he always got back to us day or night.) The time finally came and we made our way to Greece and the next two weeks were magical. That is not by any means an exaggeration. We were blown away by every aspect of the trip. It was 100% worry free. Every single transfer was thought of and taken care of. Chris came up with hotel choices and all the tours/etc just by talking with me for a half hour but it's like he knew me and my husband our whole lives because that trip was so perfectly, "us." I absolutely recommend Zicasso and Asimina Tours (specifically Chris L) to anyone considering travel to Greece. I know there's a whole world to see but I honestly would be happy to do our exact trip over and over. read more

My friend and I truly had an amazing time in Greece, all thanks to Panos and Asimina Tours. The hotels, tours, transportations, and suggestions for Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini were remarkable, not to mention the breathtaking views. The planning was so thorough that we didn't even have to lift a finger. I felt very comfortable and safe knowing that all of our transportation between airports, hotels, and tours was booked in advance. I really appreciated Panos's quick responses to our questions in addition to his availability at all hours of the day, even during our trip. He was the last person we heard from before our departure and the first when we arrived back. I would highly recommend visiting Greece and having Asimina Tours plan the whole trip. This was an amazing experience! Stella and Maria helped us plan out our trip for Greece and Italy that fit all of the requirements we had laid out (which were quite strict!). I have spent a lot of time studying the Roman Empire so I had many locations both standard and not standard I wanted to visit. They got everything in a tight time schedule and within our budget. Additionally their support during the trip was spot on as well, assisting us with questions or changing our schedule should we want more time with certain things. I highly recommend these planners for anyone! read more

If you're looking into Greece, I recommend checking out Asimina Tours. Our travel agent booked our trip through them and they were very helpful, and usually have a contact in Greece if you need something from them. They gave us tons of info and everything went off without a hitch. Because it was our honeymoon, we really wanted everything taken care of for us. There was always someone to meet us with our name on a sign, and we never had to worry about a thing. We received a whole packet of information about all of the places we were visiting with suggested activities, local attractions and restaurants. The hotels we stayed in were wonderful and the tours they included for us were great. We really fell in love with Greece and will definitely be going back someday. They also customized a trip just for us so we could get exactly what we wanted. Just something to think about if you think Greece is a destination in your future! read more

We had a great experience working with Stella! She took the time to listen to what we imagined for our trip to Greece, and was able to take our ideas and turn it into an incredible trip that captured everything we wanted to experience! She completely understood the vibe we were going for with our trip and she thought of so many details & recommendations that I never would have known to consider (like the benefits of renting a car in Crete!). We visited Athens/Santorini/Crete, and Stella arranged everything from car transport to having tour tickets waiting in our hotel -- it took all the stress out of travel planning and helped us make the most of our trip! Stella & her team were available basically 24/7 whenever we had questions or concerns, and were always quick to update me on any changes that came up. This was my first experience using a travel agent and the control-freak in me was worried about having someone else handle our travel details, but their close communication and professionalism put me at ease right away! If you're looking to travel to Greece I could not recommend Asimina Tours more :) read more
