Extremely Disappointed With Finch's Tree Service…read more Several months ago, I had Finch's Tree Service come out and give me an estimate. I told them I would contact them when we were ready to move forward. Despite that, I received calls and texts 2-3 times a week, many of them while I was at work. I eventually had to tell them to stop contacting me and that I would call them when I was ready. When we finally got everything in order and contacted them, they scheduled the job about three weeks out, which was fine. I took 8 hours of vacation to be home for the appointment. About an hour before they were scheduled to arrive, they called and said they had an emergency and needed to reschedule. I understood that emergencies happen, but instead of rescheduling for the next day or even the following week, they pushed the appointment another month out. I wasn't happy about it, but I agreed. The new appointment was scheduled for August 13 from 2-5 PM. On August 12, I called the office to confirm. After checking, the gentleman confirmed that we were on the schedule and that someone would be there between 2-5 PM. On August 13, I waited until around 4 PM and, with no one showing up, called the office again. The same gentleman confirmed that we were indeed scheduled for 2-5 PM. I explained that it was already 4 PM and no one had arrived. He assured me they would be there by 5 PM and said they would call if anything changed. 5 PM came and went. No one showed up. No one called. No explanation. At this point, this isn't just a scheduling mistake--it's a complete lack of communication and respect for a customer's time. I made arrangements twice, lost 8 hours of vacation time, waited patiently through a month-long rescheduling, personally confirmed the appointment, and still couldn't get anyone to show up or even make a phone call. Unfortunately, we've also heard from friends who recently experienced a very similar situation with Finch's. They have since hired another company to do their tree work. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Finch's Tree Service. I understand that emergencies and scheduling issues happen, but communication and simply showing up when you've confirmed an appointment should be the bare minimum in any business.

Finch's Tree Service was exactly who we needed for a difficult tree removal job. We had a large…read moretree close to the house that was becoming dangerous, and from the first call they were professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and made safety a priority the entire time. The crew handled the tree removal using lift equipment and proper rigging because access to the backyard was tight. There was a pool, fencing, and landscaping nearby, and they took extra care to protect the property. The tree was removed safely without any damage to the roof, driveway, or yard. This is a true professional tree service. Licensed and insured, experienced with hazardous tree removal, and very thorough with cleanup. They removed all debris and left the property clean when the job was finished. If you're searching for a reliable tree service for tree removal, emergency tree service, dangerous trees near your home, or tree trimming, I highly recommend Finch's Tree Service. They handle both residential and commercial tree work and clearly know what they're doing.

Keith and his crew came out 3 days before the storm was supposed to hit and took the tree down over several hours with delicate care through several power lines. I will definitely be hiring Keith and the boys for all future tree services. Oh, and a very special thank you to the young lady (Keith's wife?) who delivered my urgent message about getting that tree down before the storm. I'm sure she was the reason it got done. My father-in-law was told several times that there was an "emergency" that he had to take care of and that "weather permitting" that the job could be competed in a few weeks. I finally called to see what could be done. Well, I guess, as the owner recently told me, that there have been a lot of trees on houses in the last 5 months that demanded his attention. In a curt response (during my second call) he shared that if I was unwilling to wait that we could find someone else. My father-in-law (87 years old) has a dangerous tree that must be removed and kept believing his word. Heaven Sent Tree Service said in clear words that unless the tree was "on the house" he could not get to it yet. We are unwilling to wait. So, we will indeed need to find someone else. This is just a heads up for whomever. Sad.
