Well this was a very disappointing experience!!!! She is located in New York!!!!…read moreI was referred to this lawyer. I thought she understood the importance of the journey I was partaking in. The fact that my mom passed away (2020) it's been very hurtful!!! My mom didn't have a will and I went through a lot of lawyers to become an Administrator. (That is a another story for another day) I decided to contact he Pamela A Walker........ Let me tell you ..........that for me it was a lot of smoke blown in my face........... talking about space she rents to conduct business but not the business I needed to conduct to move forward in the last aspect of my mom estate....... The quality of her professionalism was non existent! I needed to conclude this part of estate but instead I was given excuses. The fact that she never sent over paperwork / a contract due to holidays( she went away, accountant wasn't available etc.....for me to sign was freaking crazy!!!!!!!!!! Then when she was confronted on what are we doing here????? She had the nerve to tell me of a death that she is dealing with????!!!!! The nerve!!!!!! Not to sound rude but she definitely said she would send me a contract then she reneges in such a un trustworthy way that I was truly felt violated and disrespected....... That was the purpose of me contacting her...... She didn't value my stance in my situation I don't feel she knows how to prioritize the need of potential clients and also she is not a straight shooter. I would not recommend this lawyer to my worst of enemy!!!!!!!

Save your time and money and spend it on an attorney who will at least pay attention to your case…read moreand the rules they told you to follow before doing any research. An attorney where your info makes it past the receptionist and all team members can be on the same page. An attorney who answers your phone calls or returns them and has a clue what's going on. A clinet should never have to reach out to the AG on personal time, and have the attorneys office on the other line to figure out where the child support is, why it's not getting received, and held 1,600 as I'm being hounded for payment from Melinda and her team. But the source of the problem was something only the attorney can handle. No answers about anything else, and the answers I did get I had to figure out myself and then was charged for the call. Or being "fired" as a clinet the day before my court date because her receptionist didn't properly communicate something to me that Kendall did in court, and then Melinda decided to stay my attorney, but still billed me for the whole process. Just wrong. Again, do your research. You're paying thousands of dollars to people who don't care what happens in your case as long as they get you the bare minimum. Kendall was the only person on this team that made me feel secure and communicated professionally in this 2 year process. It's sad when you personally go to the office more than a week ahead of time and tell them you're not moving forward or agreeing to anything further without a discovery and show up for mediation and it still wasn't done. But you were charged for stopping by. Can't get any back child support because it was in the middle of a "case." Find an attorney who respects your time, money, and makes efforts for you and your case.

PLEASE READ!! The…read moreworst professional experiences I've ever had, and I strongly urge anyone considering this attorney to think twice. I paid for legal services that were never performed -- not delayed, not incomplete, but entirely neglected. Despite multiple requests, he has refused to return my money. I have clear evidence to support this, including audio recordings and extensive documentation showing that no meaningful work was ever done on my case. What makes this even more alarming is his lack of basic professionalism. He repeatedly forgot who I was, confused me with other clients, and even addressed me by the wrong names on multiple occasions. That alone should tell you how little attention or care is given to the people he represents. In my opinion, this behavior is not just careless -- it is deeply concerning. He presents himself as a man of strong Christian values, but my experience did not reflect honesty, accountability, or integrity in any way. If you value your time, money, and case, protect yourself. Get everything in writing, document every interaction, and do not rely on promises. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him under any circumstances. I am sharing this so others don't have to go through what I did.

What I thought would be the end of a difficult chapter turned into years of an extremely stressful and complicated legal battle. After my original divorce was later set aside, I found myself overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure of what to do next. A friend recommended David Pickering to me, and hiring him was one of the best decisions I made during this entire process. David took on my case in 2023 and stood by me all the way through September 2026, when my divorce was finally over. He went above and beyond, fought hard for me, and helped me through some of the most difficult and stressful moments of my life. Even after the divorce was finalized, when additional court issues continued, David remained there to represent and protect my interests. I will also never forget the kindness and support I received from his staff. Sarah at the front desk offered prayers and encouragement when I needed them most. Those small acts of compassion meant so much during such a difficult time. David also represented me in another serious legal matter involving an allegation made by my former sister-in-law, and that case was dismissed. I am incredibly grateful for the work he did for me there as well. My divorce was long, complicated, and emotionally exhausting, but David never gave up on my case. He and his staff worked incredibly hard, and I will always appreciate their dedication, professionalism, and support. Thank you, David, Sarah, and the entire team for everything you have done for me. After years of fighting, I can finally say my divorce is over, and I am very grateful that David was the attorney standing beside me. Five stars are not enough. Khadeejeh Gonzales

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TRUST THIS LADY!!! I recently made an appointment with her for my husband…read moreto resolve some legal issues we have. We show up five minutes early and the door was locked. We stand outside(with my infant daughter) waiting for someone to answer the phone or door and nothing for 15 minutes, until some lady opens the door and looks just as confused as we do. She says, 'She's out of office for lunch, I don't know why she scheduled you for this time, I just work here as a realtor, but I can leave a message' So I agreee and my family and I wait in the car for 45 minutes waiting on any type of update, call, or car to enter the parking lot. Then THREE people walk out of the building and get into the car next to us. They smirk and start laughing while looking at us. This all happened at noon today, it is now five hours later and I still have not received a call back or anything. Her and her assistant are extremely unprofessional, rude, and have no idea how to handle time management or respect customers time. I HIGHLY recommend NEVER using her or trusting her.
