I tend to lean toward the gourmet pizzas, in particular the vegie delight (which oddly enough has peas and corn on it!) Staff are friendly and the place is clean, so that's a plus. It gets pretty busy, especially Thursday and Friday evenings, but the wait is never too long.

Romeo's Pizza is a long established pizza shop at Brentford Square. In fact, it's probably the…read moremost popular shop in the little centre, except for the supermarket. The reason for this is that Romeo's is one of those places that gets the price to quality ratio as close to perfect as it is possible. Sure, you might get a better pizza elsewhere, but you'll pay much, much more. You will even find cheaper pizza, but it'll be like eating bad cheese on cardboard. Romeo's is really very good for the money. Now I must admit, I haven't been there as much as I used to go in the last couple of years. I've got too many choices that little bit closer to home now, and I've gravitated away from Italian and more towards Indian and Malaysian cuisines. But I recently went in and ordered my standard pizza selection, a margherita. It's still good. Really, really good. The base was just the right consistency and crispness to the crust. The herbs were alright, I don't think they'd gone into their magical herb garden to pick them, but they were acceptable. The cheese was pretty good. Normally I dread "double cheese" on pizzas, as you end up with more oil leaking out of the box than you'd find on the pavement under an old Kombi van. Not so with Romeo's. Or at least, it's not as bad. Really, try this place. If you're nearby and you aren't watching your weight, you'll enjoy it.

Now you can pay $25-30 a pizza at some of the 'gourmet' take-away chains that have popped up in the past few years, which can be pretty tasty and have rotating cool new flavours/toppings, or you can get two decent basic Divine pizzas for $20 any night of the week. More often than not, we choose the latter. These are basic pizzas, but basic done well. Nice crust, enough toppings but not to the point that weighs down/makes the base soggy, and tasty sauces. Highly recommend the Four Corners to get a taste of a few different pizzas in one. The only small downside to Divine is that they're not open Mondays when we can't be bothered cooking after a big weekend!

Thin base, crunchy crust and great simple gourmet toppings. My favourite is definitely the Bunga Bunga which is an award winner (according to them). The sausage on it is out of this world and so flavourful! I order it with extra olives and sometimes fresh tomato if I want a bit more toppings but it's not necessary. The pizzas are big and while a bit more expensive than your normal delivered pizza it's worth it. The rosemary chips are delicious as well and come with a creamy delicious aioli. The delivery is always on time, the pizza is always hot and the delivery guy is polite (and sometimes kinda cute!).

And quality is what you get. I've never had reason to complain and my pizzas always arrive on time or even early. All time favourites include the Morrocan Lamb, garlic prawn and Philly Steak. And if you can't decide what to get and feel like a variety of flavours, you can opt for half and half, so long as the pizzas are in the same category. And if you're up for something deliciously different, try the Peking duck or the Wagyu prawn. The great thing about Crust pizza is it's not as oily as conventional varieties so you don't feel half as bad after a full meal. And when ever I order Crust pizza, I always try and keep some for the next day because somehow they taste even better - a day older!

Having recently…read morereceived an ad in the mail, I downloaded the Crust app and placed my order whilst on the commute home. It's just that easy! The hard part was deciding whether to get a traditional pizza, half and half, one of their specialty options or create your own. I opted for the Truffle Beef Rossini, because, well... Truffles! It delivered on everything but the black truffle aioli which seemed to get lost in all the other great toppings. There was beef, mushrooms, Béchamel sauce, onions, parsley, basil and mozzarella. I mean seriously, I couldn't refuse! Delivery takes close to an hour but the pizza was on point. If I were them I would consider renaming this pizza as the truffles are a stretch to find. However, there are so many tasty options. This will definitely be in the rotation.
