Nómade is probably the best-kept secret for lunch in the Golf neighborhood. I had walked by several…read moretimes, making a mental note that I wanted to return soon to check out their breakfast or lunch options, which are always advertised on their sidewalk chalkboard. For only 6,000 pesos, you can get a huge quiche with a side salad, a sandwich on French bread, or a big salad. Each of the options has multiple varieties to choose from. I was torn between the veggie quiche (zucchini, tomato, basil) and the chicken avocado sandwich. The hubs couldn't decide if he wanted the chicken curry salad or the roast beef one. Ultimately, we ended up with zucchini quiche and curry salad. Both were great! The hubby's salad had coconut flakes and deliciously seasoned curry chicken. I was impressed with the size of the quiche and the perfectly flaky crust. To drink, he had raspberry juice and I had limeade. After our lunch dishes were cleared, we received our coffees and a little coconut cookie on the side. A perfect ending to a lovely lunch. I definitely recommend you sit outside under one of the umbrellas. The outside space is so cozy and inviting. If you have some time (1.5 hours), you might also check out the MUI.

This cafe located in the otherwise drab Patronato, is one of my favorites and one of the first of its kind in Recoleta. As you pass by, you can't help put stop and stare at their perfectly made and beautifully designed pastries. As you walk in, you only find more interesting options. This is a Korean cafe and pastry shop where their description is in both Korean as well as Spanish (pretty cool if you ask me). Also, another thing that is interesting is the way they pre-package their pastries, giving them a more processed look even though they are made by them with few preservatives. They also have a great coffee selection of both sweet (machiatos, flavored coffees) as well as the normal espresso and latte - the perfect way to start your morning. I recommend accompanying your morning coffee with one of their many different bread options (they have both sweet and savory) My fav is their cheese bread. You can also buy loafs to take home. For the hotter days I always get one of their natural fruit smoothies (you can also go all out and get a surprisingly good milkshake). Tip: They have fairly cheap and beautiful personal cakes that are the perfect cake to give a coworker or friend. You can also order ahead of time and get a larger one made. Don't forget to take pictures because you won't find cakes like this anywhere else!

Great Korean bakery coffee place! Almost as good as Paris Baguette, same style. Nice place to stop…read morein K-Town.
